Agreed. Oliver Lancashire was bad for us.

FMOB I thought that was going to be a positive post. You almost did it. ALMOST.

Its Saints related - if It gives me a laugh ...

Got a Brighton supporting colleague at work, THE most indescribably irritating **** I have ever encountered when it comes to football rivalry/banter, in fact just THE most indescribably irritating **** I have ever encountered. According to him we only ever win if the other team doesn't try; we ,in fact I personally, paid the referee to give us the penalties when we beat them this season and there is a general conspiracy going on with match officials being instructed to send opposing players off against us to make things easy for us. Now then, shall I remind him his team set a new record tonight or not? -
ha ha!

There was a player called Bobo in the Cameroon squad in some late 90'a SNES game that I can't remember the name of. Never saw him play and might well have retired by now, but could be worth checking out.

That 4-3 against Birmingham was an incredible match. I can't believe no-one else has mentioned it (on this or various previous threads about the best matches ever).
-
What a tragedy. Always remember him as the man who finally brought some solidity to our traditionally porous defence. Doesn't matter who you are, if your number's up it's up. RIP big man.

Agreed 100%. The 4-3 against Birmingham in the Championship the season we made the play offs was better and is probably the best game I have ever seen. Incredible end-to-end nerve shredding action from start to finish, right down to the last second when DJ Campbell was clean through from a punt by their keeper that should have been cut out by Lundekvam but headed just over the bar with Davis stranded. Davis and Baird proceeded to grab each other round the throat.

LOL at Mike Osman and his 'Seriously people, just have patience it is going to happen and it will happen by the end of the week at the absolute latest' bull****. Who was he? FWIW I think BenTheLegend was pure comedy gold and the day of his passing (was he banned or did he just leave? - mods please clarify) was a very sad one for this forum.

If you want my opinion you are being way too hard on yourselves. Speaking as a regular visitor and occasional non-confrontational poster I can honestly say I have not really experienced particularly bad reliability problems (the only gripe would be that sometimes my occasional posts, which can take a while to write (let's hope this ain't one of them), disappear into cyberspace when submitted), and I have no 'moderator issues' either (perhaps those that do need to look at themselves?). BTW I am not applying to be a moderator although I would, without doubt, make a good unbiased one . One final point - unless I am mistaken you lot get basically sweet F.A for running this thing (which must take not-insignificant effort), so I would be reluctant to take too much criticism from posters who do nothing but log in and criticise if I were you.

Nah mate he was a Secretary - good at short hand apparently

David Icke, Saviour of the Earth, was a GK for Coventry I do believe.

Was Puncheon any good?
-
Here's a guess - The team will be ****
-
The difference is this season we are the giants of the league, the boys with the financial muscle. This season we have justifiable reasons to be optimistic and expectant of success, feelings born of the fact we have a side made up of expensive (at this level) footballers turning out against opponents whose collective worth (supposedly) is less than the left toe of our worst player. And yet we are served up this frightening gash.
-
****e ****e a fecking disgrace. When you weigh it up financially this is the league 1 equivalent of Chelsea being in the relegation zone after 6 matches.
-
This is just totally p!ss poor crap. Don't want to hear any 'early doors no need to panic ******'. This team has had more spent on it in the last year than virtually the whole of the rest of the division put together and yet we still can't beat a complete no mark team like Leyton at home. Not calling for anyone's head, don't normally bother to post, but I am getting seriously p1ssed off with game after game, season after season disappointment.
-
Yep I noticed that and I have to say Fonte did it too - always thought it was one of the first rules of defending not to let the ball bounce if you can head it before it does (basic common sense really).

They were sussing out how many people go running near the footbridge over the railway line, hence "Sustrain"

He was still in his wheelchair when they buried him...........

Mate, no criticism but if one of our games in hand over Huddersfield was tonight's game against Huddersfield we still have two games in hand over Huddersfield. Let's hope we cane 'em 6-0 in our next game in hand;)

Yeah C'mon! Tearing teams apart now.
