Good old +1 from me. His contacts book and profile in Europe far exceeds that of AP, he would bring a very real respected face to us for European clubs. Undoubtedly making signing players from the continent easier. As long has he stayed out the papers and got on with going about things in the so far very professional way ML, NC and AP have done he would be GREAT to have upstairs. IMO of course.

If they found the cash to do a deal with HMRC would that mean they no longer had to go back to court next week? Or after the claim that they are insolvent does the judge want to look at the validity of that claim regardless of HMRC now?

If they have serious bidders to buy the club, surely they could get some kind of statement to testify that from one of them. Take that to show the judge and things would have been very smooth indeed. As they did not do that, makes me think that these last minute bidders is just another way of stalling for time, when clearly they are fooked anyway.

Are they going to be playing for the replay against us now? Need all the extra pennies a sell-out at fratton would bring.

Surely the as its the 125th anniversary of us being formed, that very fact that the club was started is what we are celebrating? Hence for my 2p a white sashed shirt would be exactly right as that is what we wore when we were formed.

I am not wanting anything from saints this season other than to show that next season we would be able to blow teams like Exeter away. If we are not doing that by the end of this season why should I expect us to be able to do it next year? We clearly have the players to do this already. Sorry if I sound negative, but that just how I feel about us never being able to kill a game off. If we keep a clean sheet, we win 1-0 or draw 0-0. Why not in a nice easy 3-0 win?

This is the first time all season I would say that its not good enough if we dont win today. No more excuses we should be winning these games.

Liverpool derby for me today, Soccer Saturday, then the England v Wales egg chasing then UFC 2am until 6am. But need a trip to pick up a few beers before long.

I hope you get a crime as "interesting" as one I saw while in college. A man was accused of rape, but the girl was a prostitute and the man who had only paid for regular sex and he went for the wrong 'un. Somehow this got to court and was all very interesting that the girl charged £5 for almost anything goes. Anyway, dont know how the case ended up as the girls father got very aggressive towards just about everyone and the case was suspended until the following day. Exciting times. :cool:
