Difficult time to buy players. Cortese's exit and the uncertainty surrounding the manager's future don't exactly help. Lovren's injury could force our hand, and hopefully we'll get rid of Osvaldo and get a replacement in. But in the current circumstances it's difficult. Ideally, the manager will sign a new long term contract and we'll do a bit of trading. But if we don't, we should be safe enough from going down, but after such a great start to the season it will be a shame to limp over the line.

I don't think any other football club will give him the autonomy and power he craves. That's not to say that I don't rate him, he did a fantastic job here, but threw his toys out of the pram when he was told to go on the naughty step.
