  1. Glad Obama beat the mentalist.
  2. I don't think Lambert's present state of mind has anything to do with any of the players.
  3. Derry, I reckon the 2 defensive midfielders are struggling because they've got too much ground to cover. What do you reckon of Monday night by the way. Foster had to use his weaker foot all game, but did we put him under pressure and force him onto his injured side? No, we didn't. Something else that a manager with a bit more savvy would surely have picked up on.
  4. We can point to the appointments of Ball, Hoddle and Strachan as examples of getting out of the mire when we were up sh*t street under Branfoot, Jones and Gray.
  5. I firmly believe the team could at least be harder to beat by being better organised.
  6. Why not, Harry will be able to give you a lift!
  7. By your logic, we'll have a manager who will get us up but then relegate us again.
  8. Unless moves were already afoot.
  9. Olly has got to take over the chicken nuggets from him in a minute.
  10. Do McDonalds know he's using their computer on his meal break?
  11. Good for you. Personally, I prefer to judge he manager on his decisions rather than how good he is in front of a camera.
  12. I don't think anyone doubts that he's not working hard or giving his best. Whether that's good enough is another question.
  13. Thought our support was a credit to the club tonight.
  14. It seemed to me that Adkins threw in the towel on 82 minutes by subbing a full- back for a full-back. Chasing the game, we waste valuable time with an unnecessary sub. I feel sorry for Adkins that it's not working out for him this season. But football is a hard-nosed business. We're not even making a fight for it at the moment. Changes need to be made.
  15. Define real fans. Or is that just fans that happen to share your opinion. It seems anyone that doesn't, and dares to voice their opinion, is demonised on here. The manager threw in the towel on 82 minutes by subbing a full-back for a full-back.
  16. I think you might have to go through this with with a few salt and pepper pots!
  17. derry, that's not my point. If the defenders didn't keep getting tight to the centre-backs the midfielders wouldn't have to defend a massive area of the pitch. Thing is, it happens all the time, so I reckon that's how they're drilled to play.
  18. Spot on I reckon.
  19. With the gaps the full-backs are leaving, any midfielder in the world would be hard-pushed to cover the full-back. We're just not organised.
  20. Shhh. Don't spoil it for him.
  21. If Fox keeps getting too tight to the centre-back, and leaving a massive gap wide, why isn't someone shouting at him to get into position. I was a keeper and was always shouting at my defence if they went wandering. Maybe the positions he takes up are where they want him. If not, I'd be screaming at him.
  22. I agree, this is not about party politics. It's about justice and punishing the guilty and their accomplices in covering it up. I could not give a toss about the political allegiances of any of them.
  23. There is another group. The 'I go on a forum, but haven't really grasped the concept that someone can have a different opinion than mine'. If this forum ceased to exist, you might have to have your disagreements face to face, rather than behind a keyboard.
  24. 'Spazweb bedwetters' for having an opinion. Nice.
