Can I get my fiver back. Or do I have to continue to subsidise tax-dodging taxi drivers on this site.

Keith now runs on online business selling ladies hats. Apparently he is 'good with colours'.

The Spending Review (tackling the Socialists debt mountain)
Wade Garrett replied to dune's topic in The Lounge
I work for a private company that is unionised, and the mutual respect between union and management is what has helped the company grow, and attract millions in investment from its shareholders. It's not rocket science, it's common sense. -
Golac. Did we sign Dave Watson from Werder Bremen?

Who owns the land? Would have development potential if the football club went.

There were less unemployed 'scroungers' under Blair and Brown than under Thatcher and Major. -
Nick was at a height conducive to urinating on the protester. The protester wasn't exactly being fair to Robinson, and failed to understand he had the sign taken from him because he had ****ed someone off. Nothing to do with his thoughts on the war.

Dune, invest in betfair instead. It's not that hard backing horses to lose (I should be quite good at it, ask Ladbrokes).

The Spending Review (tackling the Socialists debt mountain)

I'm not sure it's as simple as that. There should be cuts in public services, there should definitely be cuts in the welfare budget. There also should be a levy on the banks, and a purge on the tax-avoiders (eg. Phillip Green) and the non-doms. Presently, the coalition only look to be going one way, which in my opinion, isn't fair. Spending a small fortune on a replacement for Trident is wrong at the moment, as is building aircraft carriers that have no aircrafts. -

Yes, the deficit is only affecting Socialist countries, USA being an example. It wasn't caused by reckless banks and insurers, who were regulated more than the Tories campaigned they should have been. Still it's good to see the bankers are getting their just desserts now that the Tories are in (or have I missed something). China need to diversify a bit. They may be putting their eggs in one basket, but that are a million miles away from a crash. They will probably learn from Thatcher, who put all her eggs in the service industry basket, at the expense of manufacturing and heavy industry. -
Dune, you're a boring c*nt.

I really couldn't give a f*ck what happens to the skate c*nts. I'm more interested in what we're doing.

Chaplow or Schneiderlin vs 'Udders?

Wait until Chaplow is match fit, then drop Hammond. He's garbage. -
Just pay him what he wants and build the side around him. Proviso that he could leave if we don't get promoted would be more than fair.

Ossie, would you and your pals open someone up if they mugged you off, or would you tell them to jog on.

Child Benefit being withdrawn for all 40% taxpayers has been badly thought out, whether you agree with it or not. For the record, I am quite happy to give up my Child Benefit, just as I was when I lost my working tax credit (altogether nearly £200 a month). But I am not happy at billionaire Government advisers, and billionaire Tory donors avoiding the millions they should be paying in tax. The Tories have been very quiet about the tax-avoiders. The press should be demonising them, as well as the scumbags who select welfare as a career choice. They are equally loathsome. And if any banker chooses to relocate to Switzerland, instead of supporting a country that protected them from ruin, then they should be ashamed of themselves. That they won't be tells you what sort of people they are. I'm a great believer in rewarding companies who reinvest their profits back into their business, creating the jobs badly needed for the country to prosper. They should be encouraged by suitable tax-breaks.

Rumours of Saints player being arrested after trouble?
Wade Garrett replied to Tractor_Saint's topic in The Saints
With your 100% fight rate there, are you one of the pikey scum? -
Wondered if some of the actors were ad-libbing or improvising. It is the only explanation for somw woeful performances. Dear Larry, and dear Johnny will be turning in their graves. I didn't like the film much, the series was good when it was trying to be funny, but otherwise crap.

I think it's hilarious that people like Tom Cruise and John Travolta believe in the teachings of a science fiction writer. What a load of idiots they all are. I know someone who went to a ' meeting' without knowing what it was all about. He got a really offensive handwritten letter afterwards, when he wanted nothing to do with it all. They prey on the vulnerable. I don't like to say it, but I really would like personally to do them physical harm. Scientology my arse.

Just how/why did pre-season turn into such a shambles ?
Wade Garrett replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
Or, Pardew couldn't be bothered because he was applying for other jobs(thinks he's better than he actually is), so he was quite rightly sacked. -
Your trying to imply that you union have brow-beaten people into voting for Ed. Anyway, I thought the idea of an election was to try and persuade and influence people to vote for you! Labour were no friend of the union while they were in Government, and won' be now. As someone stated earlier, they will occupy the centre-ground and pick up votes from the many disgruntled Liberals.
