Mark/Marc Jackson - the great man is back
Wade Garrett replied to fish fingers's topic in The Saints
Well there goes Bournemouth's chances of a takeover gone. Mark Jackson, what a k*nt. -
Maybe leaving his present job, for the insecurity of a full-time football job was not a risk he was willing to take. He is a top coach though, and will be a real loss to the club if he has completely severed his ties.

I don't think custom fitting is going to stop your slice. You're hitting across the ball, and this could be for a multitude of reasons - set-up, grip, posture, hitting over the top, swinging too quickly..... The only way to sort it out is to get the fundamentals right. Go and see a different pro, and start again from scratch. Once you've cracked that your enjoyment from the game will increase tenfold.

The point is, for me, is that the police aren't interested in pursuing this sort of crime. It is zero tolerance on this sort of crime, at an early age, that stops youngsters growing up to be criminals with no respect for the law. I have first hand experience of this. It is a recurring problem where I live and the police couldn't be less interested. Too much work for them.

I wish the police were as interested when it comes to the w@nkers who run up my road booting wing mirrors and cars on a regular basis.

Might make other idiots think again before starting trouble at games, particularly the youth element. They behaved like idiots, but these sentences do seem harsh when you read about rapists or paedo's who escape jail sentences (i personally know a convicted rapist who escaped jail).

You're not exactly Jimmy Hill are you. My missus makes more sense talking football than you. -
Different Ownership and Managment, same old summer

Same old b*ll*cks coming from you. -
Slight sense of humour failure I fear.

Not many people were moaning about Heskey when we cruised through the qualifying group. People are just jumping on the media bandwagon here. I agree with Fab, apart from Parker for Carrick, and possibly Johnson for SWP. I think we are a better side than a lot of people think, think what we did to Croatia and the manner of our qualification. However, the low expectations this year could do the squad a favour.
-
I guess you were educated in Portsmouth as well?
-
I used to think you were a reasonable person Wes, but you're turning into a poor man's Stanley. The Government don't agree with league tables and results for hospitals, so why would they agree with the same principle for schools?
-
I think that most people, on either side of the political divide, agree that Prescott is a c*nt of the highest order.
-
Of the 30 man squad I would drop: Dawson Upson Warnock Huddlestone Walcott Bent Carrick Johnson in because he is naturally left-sided, I think Capello has held him back to surprise other sides. Parker in because of how woeful Carrick and Huddlestone have been in the last 2 games. Apparently, Parker has been excellent in training, but Capello isn't going to pick him as he didn't get a run out. Walcott has been absolute garbage for much of the season, he had one decent half against Barcelona. He can't cross, pass or finish.

I went to a Comprehensive and I wasn't held back by the less academic pupils (or dunces as you put it). We were streamed according to ability and I did very well thank you. In fact I did a lot better than the people I knew that went to King Edwards. I have lived under successive governments that prove that privatisation and deregulation of utilities do not work. You will get no argument from me about Prescott being a hypocrite though.

Why don't BBC get Baddiel and Skinner on board? I liked what Corden did for Sport Relief, but he has cringeworthy tendencies. I'd imagine the BBC will get Brucey and Tarby talking ******, with a little number by Kenny Lynch chucked in.

I think the Echo were talking Lines up more. I would prefer Douglas from Swindon. -
Surely the HMRC would be better off issuing another winding up order, and hoping they get a judge this time with the balls to do the right thing. If that happened, I would bet that the outstanding tax bills of Cardiff and Preston, and any other club, get swiftly paid. It probably won't happen though, because HMRC strike me as bullies who go for the easy targets, and let arseholes like PFC slip through the net.
-
For me HMRC should not accept the offer. The message being sent to the rest of football is 'if you can't pay, we'll get our money back in the long run and in the meantime you can fall through the leagues. At the same time, the directors responsible for the mess/fraud will be hunted down anyway'. What's to stop Cardiff, Preston et al from offering HMRC 20% of their debt now?

You couldn't make it up. -
40% is very fair, as long as they pay 40%, just like I do on PAYE. It doesn't seem to be the case at the moment.

I got a lump in my throat every time he cried off a game.

I don't think Ed Balls could carry Labour through an election win. To me the only serious contenders are him and the Miliband brothers. I would go for David. Very switched on, although I was impressed by his brother on the Andrew Marr show.

If he's the one that went on a great run down the line and set up Brenford's goal at St Marys we should sign him because he's better than we've got at the moment. Good player.
