  1. If we are in a really strong position in January, we will need to sign players who can potentially get us out of the Championship. A striker who can't get a game at Leicester probably won't be the answer. If he's turned us down, I wouldn't go back for him.
  2. That's nothing. Someone was smoking in one of the toilet cubicles in the Kingsland. Hang the bastard.
  3. Best game I've seen Hammond play all season. Shame about his meidfield partner, apart from 1 sublime interchange with Lallana in the first half, Morgan was absolute garbage. Hopefully Chaplow won't be out for too long. Thought Dickson on the left was excellent, far better than Harding. Lambert was playing far too deep again. He was hardly ever in the box when dangerous balls were played in, and the one opportunity he had, a free header, he put over the bar. He needs to be playing on their last defender again, otherwise he won't get in the goals. Barnard worked his socks off, has really improved since he came here. Davis showed his class again last night, pulling off a really good save at the end of a first half where he was a virtual spectator. Second half he played the sweeper role really well with a couple of headers outside the box, took a couple of decent crosses and saved the penalty. Glad we didn't sign Calderon. Did you see the little t0sser giving it the 'give him a card ref' when the penalty was given? Brighton pressed the ball well, but their tactics were largely negative, but you have to give them a credit, they didn't lose, which I think was their sole aim. Thought Holmes was OK in the last few minutes.
  4. I might go commando. The cold should make it shrivel to a sight that isn't indecent.
  5. So you watch the politically impartial Sky? BBC political coverage is unblemished when compared to Murdoch's mouthpiece. Kay Burley was truly embarrassing in the last election, displaying the same mindless characteristics as her Fox counterparts.
  6. No, the tight bastards.
  7. I wouldn't exactly be wetting myself over the signing of a 23 year old who has scored 34 goals in 116 games at a lower standard than league one.
  8. So you would change our keeper because he doesn't play a fast pass and move game? Why not put AOC in goal?
  9. Tight bastards. They only have to pay me and I'll be off.
  10. Shame, good enough player for the squad. If Lambert is playing crap because he's got the hump, would the people who think getting rid of JP because of his disruptive influence think the same about Lambert?
  11. You odious turd. Just refund my fiver and that'll be it.
  12. Because I've paid my fiver and can say what I like as long as I stay within the rules when it comes to insult etc. You're out of order pulling my post. I don't appreciate your pious attitude. Refund my fiver and delist me as a member.
  13. I remember protesting with Tucker Jenkins, Benny Green and Trisha Yates when Scruffy McGuffy got sacked. Now that was a proper student demonstration.
  14. I couldn't give a toss who you are, but who the f*ck is benanili? For the record, I am not Dennis or Benali either. But I haven't said I'm not Peter Shilton or Terry Gennoe.
  15. I don't think he is Mark Dennis. He's got a job to string a coherent sentence together, let alone post on a computer.
  16. I know someone on the staff, and what they have told me is completely different to what you are saying. Anyway, we're on a winning run. Who gives a toss. The end justifies the means etc etc.
  17. I wouldn't be surprised if the Anarchist idiots were set up to do Tory HQ. Nothing like that to detract from the real protest and the issue of the day.
  18. All we need is honest appraisals of refs performances. I wouldn't involve whingeing managers (their hypocrisy knows no bounds when it comes to refs. Think Wenger for a start). A good idea would be to mike the refs up, so their decisions are transparent throughout the game. It works well with Rugby. Currently, I think refs should explain decisions after the game.
  19. I don't like your figures. You seem to be forgetting things like wages and other costs.
  20. Nail on head there. It would be bordering on suicide for teams to play a high line, now we have the pace of AOC. Pace gives you options.
  21. Don't knock the Dagenham keeper. Apparently, he is the best in his school.
  22. I saw his debut for Saints. Decent player.
  23. I don't like Harding that much, but it would be madness to replace him at the moment unless he is injured. We are quite settled at the back, and Dickson will get his chance at some point during the season. When he does, it will be up to him to make the most of it. I still can't forget Mills game against Ipswich last season though. He was superb.
  24. I was just the making the point to the predictable union-bashers that most of us are reasonable people who want the companies they work for to prosper. I sympathise with anyone who loses their job, and I don't believe for one minute that a socialist wouldn't, regardless of their trade-union status. It seems to me that the coalition are the ones who don't really give a toss about people losing their jobs. The Tories have form on this, and the Liberals are just one election away from oblivion because of their pandering.
  25. He gave Steve Moran the mother of all boll*ckings once when we were defending a corner. I think the whole ground heard it. He had a nice beard.
