No thanks, no chance, no thanks, will probably be supported by Whelan.

Unfortunately Duncan, I think you're right. I'm not sure if I agree with this course of action, it depends on who is waiting in the wings to replace him. But the bare facts are we have an underachieving team that has cost a few quid to put together. If Cortese has someone lined up who is up to speed on the squad and its requirements then the sensible thing all round would be for Pardew to go now. If not, then Cortese should back Pardew 100%. High risk strategy for Cortese to sack Pardew now if his replacement is no better. Wouldn't do much for his own position.

I've been saying this since he made his debut v Brentford last season. He does a good job of running round the pitch doing absolutely nothing. Can't pass, can't tackle, can't head the ball. Garbage.

Nowhere near 70. Was 58, and proves my point, should have had the book thrown at me, but luckily I think the copper was on the way to Woolston to pick up his chinese. And anyway, the speed limit wasn't clearly marked. It was obviously an error thinking I could go national speed limit. Julian, have the points come off your licence yet?

Think we have f*cked up if we could have got him on a free.

Official Statement from Cortese about future
Wade Garrett replied to Give it to Ron's topic in The Saints
Can't believe I am agreeing with Frank and alpine, but they have both posted extremely well on this topic. -
I agree with you about the wheelclamps, but I don't on speed cameras. If I had my way, they would be on every road, along with clear signs on the maximum speed limit.

Dave Benson Phillips - a sort of modern Brian Cant without the talent.

Sorry, this thread is wrong and shows a lack of respect.

I know what's best for my kids, thank you very much.

I'd love to send my kids to private school, but won't for 2 reasons. The first is economic and the second is that they would be happier going to school with their friends. I absolutely insist on them doing their best, and actively involve myself in their education. I have used private tutoring for my eldest in the past, and will continue to do so when needed. If my kids want to learn they will, regardless of what school they go to. I couldn't send them to private school knowing they would be happier elsewhere.

You have a point, but if the clampers weren't charging exhorbitant fees this would never have happened. The landowners and clampers have brought this on themselves. I have no sympathy for either of them.

For once alpine, I agree with you.

OK, so he's the only former Prime Minister who has written about his time in office, or do I remember similar books by John Major, Margaret Thatcher.... As for Phillip Green, he obviously must be a bit short of cash which is why he evades paying tax to the country that he earns it all in. The injustice of this is appalling. I work hard for my pay, and have no choice but to have my tax deducted at source. I've also lost some tax credits because my wife is earning now. That's fair enough, the way I look at it is we've all got to pay our bit so the Country can prosper again. Then you read about billionaires, who already have more money that they can ever spend, avoiding tax on income earned in this country, and being patted on the back by the Government in the process. Stinking hypocrisy. BTF mentioned the Tories pursuit of benefit claimants in order to try and balance the books. To be honest, if they are claiming illegally, or choosing not to work, then fair play to the government. If they catch enough of them, then it might make up for the tax that Mr Green should have paid. Lester Pigott was stripped of his honour when he got caught not paying tax. To be honest, I think maybe Green should lose his knghthood over this. It is outrageous.

Retiring from management, but how about a DOF role?

Sometimes I cycle to work, sometimes I don't. But what really grips my sh*t are the numpties on bikes who don't even use the cycle lane on West Quay Road at 6.30 in the morning, and they ride through all the red lights. C*nts.

Markus Liebherr RIP. All tributes here please.

Puts all life's little problems into perspective when something like this happens. We all owe a debt of gratitude to Mr Leibherr for saving the club when he did. My thoughts go out to his family. -
Top post. They rant on about the 'freedom of the press', but write whatever suits their paymaster's (Murdoch) agenda.

Good points well made.

Are you a mod?

Good shout. Murdoch thinks he runs this country. Right behind you.

To be fair, Benali was crap.
