In my opinion, if JP is sacked then Lowe and Wilde's position become untenable. We're lumbered with the lot of them. Even the boardroom has been carved up to protect them. It's their club, not ours and there's not much we can do about it.
-
And in one post you show everyone how little you know about football. Muppet.
-
His policy seems to be prepare for failure, rather than prepare for success. I don't think I'm the one who has lost it.
-
That is Lowe's policy all over. It was last time he was in charge and is the same now. Only this time it is relegation from the CCC and not the Premier.
-
The last recession was about the time Sky revolutionised our game (for better or worse). To be fair, it won't be the football world so much as the debt heavy English clubs that will have to rethink.
-
That's right. Well done Rupert. Anyway, about Pulis and Gasmi.......
-
No we don't. In the same way we didn't have to accept Branfoot.
-
Nick, you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. You can't polish a turd. Do you get my drift?
-
What difference did that make then, when up to that point he had hardly been used. If you want to look at non-performers look at the boardroom, or signed players who have spent all their time at the club on the treatement table. You will twist anything to make your bumchum Rupert look good.

That £2million Michael Wilde said he "could get easily"
Wade Garrett replied to aintforever's topic in The Saints
More bullsh*t. He said he'd match what Wilde would put in, which to be honest, I could as well. What about your hero Rupert. At least Crouch didn't take a wage to run the club. -
A wise man once said - "A fool and his money are easily parted. £24 to watch youth football at St Marys you've got to be joking" Joe Average, Southampton.
-
That's you that is. Ugly motherf*cker.
-
Yes, but didn't you know Lowe is a good businessman! I bet Nick Holmes wouldn't swap his squad at Salisbury with the crap that we have now. Mike Wilde, football first, you are a disgrace.
-
Why don't they save the wages of a couple of the many average midfielders, instead of our best striker? Lowe and Wilde are a disaster. I wouldn't let them run a school tuckshop.
-
We are selling points, not players.

Our relegation can be directly attributed to having 3 managers in 1 season. For that we have Rupert to thank. Wilde is a numpty. He oversaw a disinterested jock manager spunk a load of cash on crap players. He got kicked out by the very people who appointed him. Crouch was only Captain of the ship for a short time. He didn't waste money. He got Skacel and Rasiak off the payroll. His main fault in my eyes was leaving Dodd and Gorman in charge for too long. He did make up for this by getting Pearson in as manager and let him do his job without interference. The loan signings of Perry, Lucketti and Wright kept us up last season. So in short, I don't think Wilde managed the financial situation properly, I don't think Rupert is an effective leader and I don't think Crouch did that much wrong.

Congratulations. You've just won my bullsh*t post of the year, and it's only October. Well done.

Play Lallana a little off of Stern John, in the same position that Rooney plays for ManU. It can be difficult to pick up the player in the hole if he's coming from deep. Play Euell at CM with Schneiderlin or Gillett, Surman LM, and whoever at RM (BWP maybe). Leave the defence as it is, apart from Thomas or Svensson in when fit to play alongside Perry. I expect Rupert has worked it all out for Saturday anyway.
-
Signed, good luck to you. Getting really fed up with industry upping sticks to the third world.
-
Shearer will have a choice of championship clubs if he makes himself available for management. I don't think he would choose to work for Rupert in a million years. I don't think Merrington and his tyre kicking mates are going to buy the club, so we might as well forget about Shearer down here.
-
That really is a feeble argument in defence of Lowe. I don't think he has to worry too much about paying bonuses either.
-
Was that the TO 55ER one?
-
We seem to be going one step back for two steps back.

Absolute horsesh*t. As I said before, Crouch had already agreed a deal with Barclays for budgets this season. Why they would feel more at ease with Rupert, just because of how he talks, rather than Crouch, a businessman who has made a lot more money than Lowe, I just don't know. Crouch didn't step down because Barclays went cap in hand to Lowe. He went because he was ousted by Lowe and Wilde.
-
Can't you see that Rupert's methods, personality and appointments are the reason we aren't fighting for promotion and playing some good football? Leon Crouch has made more money than Lowe in the business world, and from a standing start. Yet there are a few out there who think Lowe a better businessman. Crouch had sorted Barclays out for this season. If he was still in charge we would still have Pearson as manager, and although I accept cuts would still have had to be made, I am convinced attendances would be more than 15k - 17k we are getting now. The full house for the Sheffield United game, and the feelgood factor from that game was something to build on for this season. Between them, Lowe and Wilde have destroyed that. For the good of the club they need to go.
