You talk about respect after calling me arrogant. Priceless.
-
Not really, I'm just confident in what I think. I'll hold my hands up if I'm wrong. I'm just not a perennial fence-sitter like certain others Minty.
-
Cracking game. Some great saves, and a good understanding with the defence. He was very vocal out there today.
-
Fine. We'll have a look at it at the end of September and you'll see I'm right.
-
Yes, we know. You've made your point Mr Uber-fan.
-
I think he should take a look at himself, his selection, the inexplicable decision to sit John on the bench, tactics and the 1 up front.
-
This thread tells me all I need to know about the football knowledge of some of the forum users. Laughable. You wouldn't know White was on the pitch apart from giving the pen away. Dyer was much more effective down the line. Muppets.
-
There was so much wrong with the performance, team selection and tactics today. You are right about not judging them too early. But for us to improve we need to kick this 1 up front into touch and go 4-4-2 with Dyer and Holmes(who looked good today) out wide, and more experience in the side. John has to start. Big test for Jan. I fear for us to be honest.
-
Agreed. I was baffled by the tactics and John being on the bench. We look to have 2 decent wingers in Dyer and Holmes, so why he played John as a lone centre-forward with Mcgoldrick behind him, at a time when we were chasing the game, I'll never know. I fear he JP is like a fish out of water.

They were booed because they were crap. You pays your money, you can say what you like. Blackpool are a poor side.
-
Lowe, for sure.
-
You make a good point Yorkie. However, prior to relegation we were 30000+ every home game. All we had to show for it were a succession of managers and a squad of 40 odd mediocre players.
-
Fair point Steve. To be honest, whatever anyone does is OK by me. It's their choice, and as far as I'm concerned there is no right or wrong.
-
Probably offset by the pay-offs they got when they were kicked out. I don't suppose they have repaid that money, now that they are drawing wages from the club again? Parasites.
-
They'll be begging that tw*t with the bell to come back next.
-
Too right. I want nothing more than have to continually sell players to keep our heads above water. Why would we want substantial investment into the club. Just think how much worse off we would be. You are right when you say the thread should be closed, and that we shouldn't worry about a takeover. We have no control over something that probably won't happen anyway.
-
Absolutely. My point is he got that position in the stockbroking firm because of who he knows, not his brilliance in business.

I'm not running the club, I'm just a supporter. Why should I give an alternative. I give the club my money, and they run it. I don't agree with the way the club is being run. Judging by tonight's likely attendance nor do a lot of other people. Players playing for the shirt is a good thing. You can't knock the young lads for trying, and I wasn't trying to. However, as good as the result at the weekend was I can't see it lasting. That is my opinion based on my knowledge of football. Opinion, not fact. It's amazing how many jobs you can get by going to the right school and making the right friends. Let's face it, Rupert is no Alan Sugar is he.
-
You going tonight then?
-
I have grave reservations about the success of Lowe's experiment. If it goes well then I would be the first to admit I was wrong, and credit would go to him. To be honest, I can't see it. I think the man is a fool. It is good to see players playing for the shirt, but it is not enough. I hope I'm wrong, I really do.

Did his screen dad say 'language Timothy'. Comedy genius from the four-eyed midget boring talentless one from the 2 ronnies. A friend of mine took Mitchell and Webb to the Mayflower in his taxi. When it was time to pay up he said '5.35, that's numberwang'. The stuck-up duo weren't too impressed with his attempt at humour. Fred Dineage may be a skate, but he's a nice bloke.

We need to know these unknowns so they become known unknows, or just knowns.

He's got a better haircut than his old man.

Looks a decent signing.

rudi, don't worry. You told us the news came from a steward, therefore we all know it's ********. Backing down is not necessary. nickh has given me a little hope though.
