Three added minutes? Not a hope in hell.
-
Right, surely a red card?!?!
-
Sounds like we may have won a penalty on another day...
-
Haha, sounds like someone who might have played for Scarborough in the 70s.
-
I would rather lose today then on Saturday. Perhaps this result might be a blessing in disguise.

I have a man crush on Cortese. Right come on then Saints. No silly bookings, no silly tackles, let just get the goal and play out the rest of the half.

Bugger

I'm more concerned about forking out the £60 odd for the train ticket only to get there and here it's been called off!

Spoken like a typical Thatcher-loving c.unt You really do have no idea, you're so far out of touch it is laughable. Who would you rope in then to deal with the abuse, the threats from pupils and parents, the endless paperwork, the endless red-tape that stops me from doing my job? Ex-army officers? No, they would be sacked within a week for hitting one of the pupils if they lipped them off. Someone from the City? No, they wouldn't take the pay cut. Yourself maybe? As someone once said on here (I think it was Arizona), teaching is the only profession where you have to earn respect from the 'ground level' with the people you spend the majority of your day with (i.e. the pupils) rather than having at least mutual respect when you enter an office environment (for arguements sake). Please try getting up out of your 'ex-governor' seat with your 'all knowing' aura and try it one day Grandad; you would not last 5 minutes.

Do kindly **** off. I pull my ****ing weight just as much as everyone else thank you very much. Just because I wasn't so short-sighted that I thought the private sector was the way to go, I don't think I should be made a scapegoat! If I were you, I would get down off my high horse and suck it up. When the Tories win the election, there will be wave after wave of strike action.

The xmas number ones over recent years have only sold about 800,000ish copies, so if that group can get more members, they have every chance

Leeds Away Ticket Info - full allocation taken
Thorpe-le-Saint replied to stevegrant's topic in The Saints
Looking forward to this. My mates decided that they would rather go on some sort of poncy fancy dress **** up then do Leeds away (morons) so it will be just me and my brother for this one. Not looking forward to the walk back to the station in sub zero temperatures, but that's what makes following Saints away so great: I remember Coventry away a few years ago (tuesday night game, Saga's first goal) it took a good 45 minutes to walk back/find my car and my brother and I almost walked straight onto the M6 by accident. Happy days! -
Oh stop being such an arse.

Made 'unpopular' choices? If ruining entire communities is called 'unpopular' then I need to get myself a new dictionary.
-
Hahahaha! Yeah ok, we'll forget the Tory governments that preceeded 1997 then?
-
Simple solution to that: 'Up the back!!"

I get annoyed at all this: Blair really really ****ed the country (and me) off with this whole Iraq thing and he totally ruined what would have been a solid legacy: Peace in N.I, the minimum wage, unprecedented (sp?) public spending on schools and the NHS etc.

+1. There was a goal on MOTD last night, can't remember which game (think it was Wolves?) where the commentator and the fans were screaming for offside and it was blatently obvious that the ball hit the opposition player on the way through and therefore it wasn't off side!

She is one of the only few birds who get the 10/10 from me. Absolutley AMAZING!
-
The coppers probably have their claws in the club now and wouldn't that block 1 re-open for 'safety issues'.
-
Alright Jo Whiley calm down. I wouldn't go that far!
-
I think you summed up Liverpool excellently Crab Lungs. Two more things to add to Man U: Their annoying tannoy bloke, and it's even worse when he does it at Wembley for the England games!!!! Secondly, their super duper fans in the Stretford End. ******s the lots 'em.

An effective means of protest in the heart of Southampton ...

If we beat Leeds 8-0 I will run on the pitch at Elland Road naked.
