Putting the policies to one side, Farage seems to give straight answer to questions put to him and does so in a matter of fact way (there are still some he dodges). The others could learn a lot from this approach instead of avoiding the question and trotting out the mantra of the day ad nauseum. That is why he is appealing to more voters - people believe he is (scarily) more trustworthy. He reminds me of Alan Johnson who was pretty candid when it comes to answering questions - he is one of the few labourites I could vote for.
