Will Salt branching out from scouting trips to official player unveilings.

As much as I can see your logic here, let’s not go overboard about Tonda transforming Archer. I think he managed two or three goid games out of him. (More than any other fucker has done admittedly but doesn’t sell the idea of keeping him to me). BBD? Confidence player perhaps. Possibly Tonda - if he is allowed to remain in post - could improve him. But if we had the option of upgrading that seems a better option then gambling with proven barrel scrapings.

That’s two relegation places booked then, Hull and Failberg’s Ipswich

Twine seems sort of player who could be used to 'bale' us out ..

Article on BBC today about Scotland at World Cup in 1986. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c62xqg7l6w9o This caught my eye regarding the German Asst Manager Berti Vogts

Just wonder if anything can be read into Dragan making these comments directly rather than leaving it to Spors. But then again I remember he gave interviews to Adam Blackmore and Alfie House at the end of last season also, although perhaps not as emphatic as this seems to be about individual players possibly leaving.
-
Roeslev is a player largely forgotten about. I don’t think he impressed that much when he did play, but did he even feature under Tonda ? Perhaps unfair to judge him on displays under Still as it was such a disorganised rabble.

That’ll go down well on Teeside.

Wolves trying to recreate the Nuno position of having a Portuguese manager with the Portuguese agent link (assuming he’s still involved). Yet they allowed Edwards to start assembling a squad with more domestic players, Armstrong and Trippier
-
I’d hope that the sole focus next season is seeking promotion, not prioritising the ‘pathway’ and game time for youngsters

The club have been punished, although it seems the FA will look to give kickings to some of the individuals involved.
-
Has anyone listened to this ? Not sure how audio will work, you often need sub-titles for them surely.
-
The last two World Cups are testimony also. There will be plenty more examples over the next month.

Interesting thought, thanks. To me it seems questionable how a ban for something which isn't considered a breach of rules elsewhere could be expected to uphold a ban for spying, and questionable if FIFA, UEFA would be interested in lesser charges of ungentlemanly or unprofessional conduct, or disrepute. But they're also dubious outfits riddled with self-serving hypocrisy so who knows? Hoping for the best, but am expecting the FA to try and make a high profile example here.
-
Couple of random thoughts today speaking about it: Would a ban on Tonda by the FA be recognised and transferred to UEFA ? Think its unlikely to be upheld there if 'spying' isn't an offence in Serie A or Bundesliga. (the effect of an FA ban could be Tonda getting a better paid job elsewhere - not a great punishment then on the individual) Is spying against any specific rule under the FA? Seems unlikely if it isn't with EPL, so would the FA be restricted to how the actions stack up against their own code of conduct ? What might the outcome have been if before an FA Cup tie ? Which of course it wasn't.

I'd like to think you're right but depends what his contract states. We may have agreed at £25m release clause. Hope not.

Special kit for the Middlesbrough games. Shirts to be auctioned off after.

Suspect you’re right, but Jander is one of the key remaining players I’d like to retain. He and Downes worked well at the end of season, better than Charles and Downes. But with rumours of him being homesick at one stage last season there seems an inevitability that he might look to leave. More we keep the better (of the key players that is).

Krasnodar will no doubt make a statement next Friday. Won’t be worth much after the inhumane slaughter will he ? Sergey Gibbosky isn’t it ?
-
I thought the benefit of an academy product was solely if from your own academy. Where any sale figure is treated as 100% profit. In the case of Charles, we spent c£10 (was it?)on him . Doesn’t that have to be factored into the calculation? The downside is that presumably there is a further sum payable to Man City as well to eat into our profit. It may be a lower or different % or multiplier (or whatever it might be called) is allowed against domestic academy purchases, but in truth I don’t know.

Apart from Vardy never really had a problem with them. They enjoyed their few years in the sun, who wouldn’t? Roy Croppers a cunt though

Agree with you, seems a bit like Pardew coming to us. He can give it a lot of spiel about ‘wouldn’t have gone to L1 but for Leicesters appeal, size of club …” bollocks to save face.

I missed the Boris mention the first time, although on re-reading it this seemed reference to how Karen Brady got her title. There is also the question of how the stadium was taken by West Ham at a time he was mayor of course. Brady’s father was a Director of Skatesmouth at one point as well. Another fine upstanding member of the porn community. When you say “he does like a blonde”, did you mean Boris himself, or Sullivan perhaps using Boris as a centre-spread ?

Anyway, to quote Les Reed, I’m relaxed about it. If Cortese rejected AC Milan to stay with us I’m sure Spors will do likewise.
-
Depending on what you read, but have seen that Glasner appears more likely (not dependent Rangnick). Trouble as I see it is that Rangnick has set his stall out regarding the ‘team’ he would look to bring with him and if he doesn’t get the AC Milan job he’ll be hawking that round elsewhere.
