  1. Until we’d lost a couple of games and then the anti-skate vitriol would have started. And let’s not pretend O’Neil was anything special.
  2. Sentiment aside, why ? As great as he was in his time with us, it’s over 10 years since he left. Is he strong enough to sort out our dressing room ? Got my doubts.
  3. That’s a bit like people not wanting Hoddle back. It wasn’t the non-appointment of Hoddle that cost us, there were other options to Sturrock, Wigley etc as things panned out.
  4. Yes, I think his interview will follow shortly after the club reveal the Five Pledges.

Bit unrealistic as he was only 1 when Branfoot was sacked !
  6. Big fuck off to this, even if said in jest. We’re still seeing his legacy frankly from the ‘roll over and have your tummy tickled’ mentality in the EPL, having created a cosy culture of days off etc for the players. Wouldn’t want that prick back. The big error though remains the club not crushing that culture and bringing someone in to do it.

What he was doing during his interim spell, how he achieved it, and why it has changed remains the mystery
  9. They spend money, and everytime make us worse.

Christ on a bike, I forgot he existed. Shamed to admit, but things are looking so bleak I could get on board with this until the end of the season. But worth remembering that Pulis’ more recent jobs - rather like Fat Sam - are pretty poor records aren’t they ? He isn’t the Pulis who had Stoke punching above their weight nearly 20 years ago.
  11. Well worth £8m of Stoke’s money at the end of the season. Perhaps we can persuade them to do the deal now before Premier League vultures start to hovver.

Okay, I give up. Name him.

This stands out for me. The problems are higher up. I’ve been supportive of him as an individual but have said from the outset it’s too soon in his career, and the Board could see his career crash.

No it wasn’t, and he isn’t. Did you ever hear Still grunt his way through an interview and barely string a coherent sentence together ? Tonda was a refreshing change after Still, but he’s not judged on interviews. Clearly it isn’t working but his interviews are the least of my concerns. Don’t forget he’s always on lead to follow the party line, and the poor fucker - at an early stage of his career- the one to face the questions (albeit very toothless from House and Adam) whilst those responsible hide away behind their iPads, and spreadsheets, or just go home and wank in the bath.
  15. They appointed a fucking novice last May, and when it inevitably went ‘tits up’ the SFC Brains Trust then appoint someone even younger and with less experience. Shocking inept mismanagement from those in charge.
  16. not for the first time: Bunch of cunts. Wiith one or two exceptions.

And who will they appoint ? Must be time to give Nivea a go.
  18. Or get sent off
  19. This is the common thing now as seen elsewhere recently. Frankly, I feel sorry for the bloke being put in this position at an early stage of his career. Vanity project no doubt, but whose ? I still expect this all leads back to Rasmus, despite some protests to the contrary.

He’ll probably be available again in the summer. Not that he’ll be interested in us under the current regime
  21. It seems to be a missive from those at a higher level and club policy. I don’t think blame lies with the ‘head coach’. But agree, fuck off to 5 at the back, Ankersen and his cronies.
  22. Desperately trying not to sign for them isn’t he ?

Seemed a hipster cunt at Hull, and living up to that now. Glad we’ve given this one a wide berth , an ego to match Russell. Expect him to be out of Stamford Bridge by October.
  24. Or it was one game, we’d seen enough and didn’t pursue it. This seems a non-story to me. Plenty of players have passed through our trials and either chosen elsewhere (Gascoigne for example) or been overlooked (Kevin Phillips for example). Others have slipped the net elsewhere and ended up at Saints. Big deal. What was Fabrice’s point ?
  25. Just a shame that their selections for replacement are frequently sub-standard then
