Haven’t Strasbourg offered €10m ? Perhaps much will depend on payment up front, and % sell ons to be agreed as well but I doubt we’d accept a lower offer from Bruges just at his request. Bruges seems a less ambitious move, but don’t know enough about the two clubs.

Doesn’t Eduard play as more of an advanced MF than either Rudoni or Fernandes, or possibly a wide MF ? I can see a role for him, but can’t see us spending big on two midfielders, assuming Fernandes stays. Then we have the puzzle of where does Dibling play if he stays, wide right presumably.

That’s why I said so far. There’s still plenty of time for him to come good. From what I’ve seen he’s got the pace, and height to be a decent CF at Championship level, and hopefully above. But against L1 opposition he hasn’t shown he’ll set the league alight.

Personally I’m glad we didn’t. Think such an experience might have been a traumatic one, more in our interests for him to keep playing. ( Altjough staying at Sheff Weds probably brought its own issues for him as things turned out).

Wasn’t Brighton away in the L1 promotion year a very late show as well ? Can’t recall the times of goals though, equaliser might not have been after 90 minutes though.

We questioned his attempt at the penalty at the time, . The odds are always stacked in favour of the penalty taker but he seemed a bit slow to get down to it. Perhaps harsh. Definite improvement, credit to Still, Trollope and co. Vast improvement on last season. The improvement was demonstrated by Fraser lasting 90 minutes. Did he ever do that whilst Lego was in charge ?
