Someone of his ilk would be great but I don’t think is around now. Really wanted KK to be a Saints manager many years ago. Think it was during Lowe’s time after moving to St Mary’s, when other unlikely candidates included ‘Arry, and Ginanluca Vialli. Not to be, Rupert knew best and I think we ended up with Stuart Gray (after Moyes turned us down). Anyway, as far as Keegan is concerned the ship has well and truly sailed. Twenty years too late for him.

Does such a person exist ?
-
Not really. He’s an experienced Championship player and was a decent selection at that level. Certainly couldn’t criticise his efforts last season.
-
You could be correct about us not wanting to pay compensation, whatever it is, especially at the rumoured £10m, which seems a high figure for a Championship manager. We got into a bit of a stand off with Swansea over RM. Bizarrely it may not even be resolved, and last I read Swansea were intent on suing Martin personally.
-
This probably seals it. Unless he fails badly on the skinny jeans, and vaping test, that is.
-
I must have imagined we were playing Liverpool midweek then.
-
Hadn’t heard much about him before. But at least it appears Rasmus has kept a beard in the dugout for some continuity Yes, good luck to him.
-
Thanks. Good to put that in context.

I do agree about Robbins, and amended my post on reflection. But I fear Robbins will be a ‘great job at ….’ insert club, and dine out on that for the rest of his career. What he did at Coventry was tremendous, but he built the club up from L2 (I think) so had the momentum and made it his club. Rather like Adkins for us, albeit over a shorter period, but never repeated elsewhere.

Nothing to get excited by there then

Who is Jack Rosser ? That might answer whether Rohl is “linked” or is it just Jack Rosser’s opinion.
-
The bloke none of us had heard of until about a week ago. But you could be right.
-
I’d be happy with Rohl in the summer to be honest. Just hope we don’t get ourselves lumbered with the wrong appointment now, to take us into next year. A decent caretaker with an option would be the sensible way to go in my book. But unlikely to find one.
-
Suggest you send this in.
-
Inevitable that’s he linked, but why would he swap a decent position at Sheff Weds, for our relegation free fall ? Suppose the obvious answer is £££. Personally I’d have thought he’d be a more realistic option at the end of the season.

Simon Rusk according to OS. So can only assume Calderwood has also gone
-
Inclined to agree. I’m not an RM fan by any means, but it’s sad that things have turned very bitter in the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately many wouldn’t think it through, just attach a phrase they’ve heard before. That said, he’s brought it on himself with selections, tactics, and the players appearing unfit, and poorly prepared.
-
For the first couple of home games certainly, but didn’t the atmosphere deteriorate again after it was realised Selles didn’t have the answers?
-
Who needs stadium expansion when we can sell the site, and ground share with Sholing ? We’re all aboard the Rasmus bus. Epic times ahead.
-
Would like to think you’re right, but this seems more like wishful thinking. What leads you to think this might happen ? * * other than we think it should
-
Who came out with that ?
-
Surprised he didn’t want to do his wavy hands and fist bump routine in front of the adoring masses after the game. But then if Miss Pinder is waiting who can blame him for cutting the celebrations short.
-
Is that similar to the turd that sits at the bottom of the toilet pan? Just peeking out at you, almost defiantly, it refuses to be flushed away.
-
Yeh, we’re going toe to toe with them now
-
Don’t think that’s correct. We agreed terms with Norwich but the player chose Leicester. The choice of Elyonoussi as the replacement does represent quite a leap in quality though.
