He'll fit in well then.

Just read on the BBC site:
-
Two less suitors for Austin then.
-
No stranger than signing Adams from Brum surely. Good goalscoring record, and from the clips I've seen of him he appears a a fairly hardworking, and hard running, player that might fit the RH style. Personally I can't see it happening as we've already signed Adamas and Djenepo as the attacking options, and other areas are more likely to be prioritised.
-
His best goal ? Possibly. Certainly his most significant though.

Skates at home in the cup when we beat them 2-1. (Last minute penalty match).
-
So does this take Villa out of the queue for Webster ?
-
Be surprised if Lampard doesn't want to work with him at Chelsea. From our angle, my gut feeling is the CB will be brought in from Europe. Can't see the Webster option going further with the amount Bristol City were suggesting.
-
There just aren't enough of his good days though to count on him. If Ralph could 'unlock' whatever it is in Lemina's head then I agree he is potentially a standout performer and the discussion on here is how we don't want him going to Man U or wherever. Hojberg who you compare him with, gives us 7 or 8 solid/decent if not spectacular performances out of 10 matches, Lemina may give us one outstanding, one okay, and the rest 'can't be arsed' type showings. Which is better to try and develop a team around ?

Strange move, but obviously no PL takers. Perhaps not rated as highly as suspected.

That works well in sky blue and white, not sure if it would be so good in red and white as the original often looked red and pink from the stands. Away kit is also impressive, same design but yellow and navy, a far better combination than our grey and yellow. http://www.footballshirtculture.com/19/20-Kits/coventry-city-2019-2020-hummel-away-kit.html

Clearly something Ross has learnt from Les. Apart from that his age doesn't tally with the photo-fit of a Ralph signing. So no thanks, and unlikely.
-
Good, they can afford both Boufal and Hoedt now. Don't suppose they want a former Engalnd GK as well ?
-
Rupert will sort him out in the car park... ..or perhaps pistols at dawn are more Rupert's style.
-
.. or something rising to £25m, which allows facesaving with their own supporters. £25m in today's press.
-
Never heard of him.

Football structure changes July 2019 (lots of them!)
Badger replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Watson becoming Assistant First Team Coach. Is that the "cone stacker" role that had been suggested ? -
I thought it had been reported that we'd dropped our interest in Webster and were pursuing targets abroad.

That was the point I was making...

I'm sorry to see him go without getting an opportunity in the first team. Annoying when you consider the dross we've persevered with elsewhere, in defence, and the non-performing of Austin and Long towards the end of the season on the bench. But bow to RH's judgement, and it's clear that SG needs to move on. Hope it works for him and that we retain a healthy sell on % in case it comes back to haunt us.
-
Definitely some good finishes in there covering the full range, opportunism - being in the right place, cool head, and working chances for himself. Perhaps aideed on occasion by some calamity defending, but give Shane Long the same chance and he probably wouldn't take advantage. One or two "quality scuffs" as well for the purists, but who gives a sh!t providing it ends up going in. (Not a convincing penalty taker from that though).
-
They are both outside the age bracket Ralph has spoken about.
-
My view - no doubt you'll disagree - but it gives another dimension in our play, and threat to the attack. I read somewhere that Adams fared better playing alongside Jutkiewicz at Brum. We've been at our most effective with Lambert and Pelle in recent years. The difficulty is combining height and mobility, otherwise you end up with a carthorse like Carroll. Take you're point but not sure Liverpool or City are a good comparison. We're not buying at the same level as either of those two who buy the finished product.
-
Not sure too much can be read into the usual Youtube collections, but from this he certainly shows strength, awareness and it appears an opportunist, right place right time. Definitely a quality we've been lacking, how often have we seen promising moves come to nothing with the ball bobbling around the six yard box, no one there or Redmond arriving too late. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-C5SHZWh_Ho Shows a bit of pace at 4.48, but no idea the sort of donkey defence he's against. I'm sure Ralph will work his magic and he'll be good for us. Would have preferred Agustin but he'd probably have been another £10m, and who's to say he'd have settled in the EPL, at least we know Adams ahs been up against fairly physical opposition in the Championship (although given more space there). My only remaining gripe is that we're still lacking any height up front.
