What our relegation rivals think about today >>

Difficult to disagree with those comments. Frankly, we (well Cortese anyway) do derve to go down after this episode. -
What our relegation rivals think about today >>

Our rivals see that we've taken four points in the last two games, but must feel we're handing them back, with interest still to come. C^ntese, I think this trumps the SCW fiasco Lowe inflicted on us. -
One thing you could credit His Rupertship for, he did face up to the media about the Hoddle return and did not hide. He even stood on the sidelines, for the 'Arry & SCW love-in, and was present.

Stands out so glaringly does'nt it ?
-
Thats the "Essential Everyday English for Inexperienced Foreign Football Managers " level Perhaps a bit too soon for the 'A' level though.
-
Was he on The Belgrano then ?
-
Absolutely f^ck all to get excited about. Not even the square root of f^ck all to get remotely excited about in fact. Had a "grear escape season" , so perhaps on par with Dave Jones , at that stage of his career. No real track record, so God only knows why NC saw fit to appoint him.

Are you all genuinely surprised or did you expect it?

ditto. After WBA away, or end of the season. -
Sssshhh... heard C^ntese has sacked Les Reed, and brought Lance Armstrong in as Performance Director.
-
Gut feeling - probably to the end of the season. If we go down he'll be out , or off. If we stay up, I still expect the Di Matteo link resurfacing.
-
We could sing "f^ck off, you Argie bastard" for all he knows, as he doen't speak English yet.
-
Failed dismally then. Bring in 'Pep' or Mourinho, and we've heard of them, but bringing in a no marks, we've never heard of !!!
-
today, I agree with your sentiments. Wonder if we'll feel the same at the end of this , or next season ?
-
Ridiculous. I honestly believed we had turned a corner. Results and performances had improved under Nigel Adkins. We now go back to the drawing board with some f^cker who has no track record, and does not speak English. Adkins deserved the season as a minimum. If he was to be shown the door it was surely after the WBA match. This makes us a club fit for ridicule frankly.Everyone and their dog will want to see us relegated after this. Emotions - angry, disappointed, almost want to cry. Ashamed of the treatment NA has had. Nice one C^ntese.
-
Conversely, will he want the players ? Or will we end up with a sudden influx of Spanish and South American mercenaries looking for a quick payday ?
-
Think we had better get used to that though. Pleased for Shaw, but also concerned as to how playing for England gives chance for their heads and minds to be turned. Comments from either Woy , or Pearce, or the media to the effect of 'needs to play Champions League..' blah blah would not be helpful.

"Saints considering Mauricio Pochettino" - Daily Mirror

Personally, I think it would be idiotic to appoint this joker with no knowledge of the English game as our potential saviour. Can't imagine NC would take the risk. -

A new "defensive coach" perhaps ? Otherwise, it is (probably) b0ll0cks. -

Well enough early in the season to sack this bloke in November. Ridiculous idea if true. -
You'd have thought she knew he was coming over here with the intention of joining a club in England before he left and that any domestic arrangements were discussed/resolved. Unless he told her he was just popping out for a pint of milk, and a few days later is still 'awol', leaving her to find out on a journalists twitter etc.
-
Can he do 'crop circles '?
-
Talented player, but seemed to lose his confidence and with that his career at Saints drained away. Most memorable moment for me was throwing himself to the ground whilst waiting for a throw in,to take the **** out of a Bolton player for diving a few minutes before. Ref - humourless bastard - booked him.
-
Suspect Astori is no longer number one priority if the Forren deal goes through.Sorenson however, with age on his side, might be the preferred other option, as he's a right sided player. Might also be possible to buy both Forren & Sorenson for the same, or less than, as Astori.

Shame on me. Had my Saints 'head' in focus, rather than Beatles pop one.

I assume you mean Steve Wood rather than Neil Ruddock (probably late 80's thinking about it). Can't believe he's only on a par with Steve Wood.
