Any links for us exiles to watch it on ? -
Is that an alpine hat ?
-
If Nigel takes us up, and then onwards, perhaps we should erect a statue in his honour.
-
..often after a lot of sideways passes across the midfield and back four. Actually option A is pass it around and batter them (4-0) Option B - just batter them...
-
The what are you wearing to the Coventry game thread

Are you sure he won't mind you borrowing them ? -
Lose - no. But I fear a good afternoon of chances going begging time after time...
-
How is next season's kit coming along ? Would they have worn it on Saturday - if it was not on television ?
-
Depends. It might be postponed. If it rains. A lot.
-
one at each end ?
-
Quilted jackets allowed on Saturday ? For the fashioista's on the board I spotted about four at'boro.
-
But if we play as we did at Doncaster or 'boro we won't.. Luck - the pompey game you might be right, re the saves by their keeper. Of the two strikes however,as good as they were, both could have been prevented, the first a crossfield pass that strayed, they broke and scored ( Maguire left alone for a free strike) the second, we had no one challenging when the ball dropped for Norris. At 'boro, the ref ballsed up no doubt, but again their first goal, the bloke was unchallenged to hit it - no midfield to contest it as it came back from defence. For all the blame heaped on the ref, did we actually test their GK in the second half ? Very often we are authors of our own misfortune, no point blaming refs.

Cov may not come out fighting, but after ten minutes of sideways-pass it across the midfield and back to the full back from us, they may realise there is little to fear and go for it. Cov are crap, but we may allow them to grow in stature and get into the game too much ( misplaced crossfield passes immediately spring to mind). Hope I'm wrong of course.

Looking at this comment and your location I'm not sure you are looking at the right sort of forum at all Alps, try The Muppet Show as Dog used to post frequent links that you'll find interesting, given your new found obsession with female genitalia
-
So will you now be wearing your clowns gear, gimp gear or wig ?
-
not won in our last two...that can not continue surely ?
-
Understand what you're saying but there is some similarity there between Cov & Hull. Main difference for me is that West Ham don't have the expectation, and burden of failure hanging over them from a single match.
-
We hope.
-
Perhaps the team will save us the neede to debate it further. Agree it should be for a REAL trophy - if and when.
-
There is absolutely no point in just relying on others...we had the chance to secure it on Saturday and blew it. West Ham need to score at Leicester after a 1-1 scoreline at halftime and manage it. We, on the other hand, did not manage to force Steele into a save in the second half (yes, ref was a cvnt, and a p!ss poor decision re trip on Lallana bu tthats only part of the story). That said, come on Leicester ..sort it out

"cold weather kit ?" Christ on a bike - don't let kit manufacturers see that (excuse) !!
-
Sunderland had a kit you've described in the early 1980's , it was not that good to be honest.
-
Agree, I was not picking a 'Guly argument' on the point, but as you are aware it can soon spiral into a witch hunt on here (and I am by no means a member of the 'Guly Defence League' as someone termed it ater the pompey match). There were however a number of other contributory factors yesterday though, not just the loss of our shape on the right hand side of midfield.
-
Agree that at this critical stage of the season it is prudent to have a sub GK. I don't agree re Guly though. I have been one of his critics after some lacklustre displays, but you can't really lay the blame for yesterday's defeat on him. On the topics of subs though I was disappointed that we were short of a real attacking option there. Was SDR injured ? Ideally I would have liked an option of SDR or Barnard to join the attack as we pressed for a wiiner, let alone equaliser.
