Inevitable. Just get it sorted Saints.

Dennis Wright possibly the best player but Dennis easily the most popular among those that saw him play. (Mark Fry - didn’t he piss Marcus and Cortese off to the point they almost walked away?)
-
He's still 18 isn't he ? MLT was in his 20's when he was at his best, providing the end product. MLT was also playing in a better team when he started out with someone like Case to guide him. Bit unfair to make the comparison although it's inevitable that supporters will, in the same way as in his early days MLT was compared with Channon from time to time.

Agree with this. Several times last season I felt we lost momentum due to substitution, although on occasion they proved match winners (Fraser at Hull and possibly Millwall). All in all it often disrupted us and we became disjointed. Have to wonder if sometimes it’s done to keep players getting game time ! Annoyingly opponents make late substitutions to slow the game down at the end. We make some of ours in 89th and 80th minute like last night, and still concede. That though might also reflect the crap that Juric has available to him.

Agree with much of that, but definitely not the first name staying. Not bothered about Archer staying either.
-
That's all that matters after all. Results don't matter (according to Semmens), and Rasmus & Co don't give a shit about relegation so looks like a winner.

Didn’t he portray himself as someone barely literate whilst giving evidence and not being able to read ? Yet he managed to read a script on something whilst in the jungle ? Hard to know who the bigger wide boy was, ‘arry or Venables. Would you buy a used car from either ?

Have just seen they’ve appointed Zsolt Low as an interim until end of season. Perhaps RM couldn’t agree a quick deal or is holding out for an increased offer, or maybe Lucy didn’t fancy Leipzig. Weren’t we meant to have sounded Low out earlier in the season ? Bet he regrets turning us down now, if he did

It probably wouldn’t take Martin long to explain the error of their ways to them and convert them to his philosophy.
-
You’re probably right in how they might have seen it, but Christ on a bike the players were complete opposites in physicality, potential etc. We go from trying to sign a potential’ new Wanyama’ to another shortarse ‘new Yoann Folly’ .
-
We were linked with Meslier before he signed for Leeds. Someone on here saying they saw him at Staplewood a few weeks before he joined them. We certainly know how to find good GK’s don’t we ? Gunn, Meslier, Bazunu …
-
Felt when we signed Diallo, Les had just thrown the random words, ‘French’,‘short’ ,’black bloke’,’midfield’ into the signing generator to see what name came up.
-
Fair point, they can’t all be the new Kante.

Some inevitability to this, and Spors might put a good scouting network together. Bit of a concern though that if he does surround himself with his own people will they all piss off at the same time when Spors moves on. ( Which given his track record is highly likely). Have read that his former sidekick, Klos, has taken a job in Bundesliga 2. Hope Klos isn’t also on ‘Rohl watch’.

Have Bromley or Harrogate’s star player captained the French U19 team at international level? I know Cheltenham’s hasn’t. That might offer a little more context, and pains me to admit it but the French have produced some great players. I’d have been more excited about the signing if I’d read PSG we’re also after him, perhaps we just got in ahead of the crowd. Of course he might sink without trace but there appears some semblance of reasoning behind the signing. Hope it proves to be something better than moving some money around the clubs.

Agree with the first bit, but don't know enough about what his input has been with us to condemn him, and him alone for our recruitment.. Some of our signings, Wood for example, had Lego's fingerprints all over them. Have often thought Mowbray might have been giving recommendations to be ignored by Lego, Mr Football and co. But someone should take credit for finding and signing Fernandes, who's to say that's not Mowbray's work.

Baz ...

Agree with you, but fear his contract may stipulate we'll sell him if relegated, possibly even naming the price.
-
Depending on the outcome of the review, Man City perhaps ? (would be shit luck if we find them in the Championship next season)
-
Noted that bit, worrying if they seriously want to carry on with him next season. I still think it was a stop-gap appointment and expect a change at the end of the season. The decision to take by the rest of us if he remains is whether to renew the ST or not. Perhaps that's a local cultural issue Mr Spors hasn't had to weigh up yet.

Won promotion in that kit as well don’t forget. Perhaps an omen Channon, Ball, Williams, Boyer and MacDougall all playing in it. Be a lot to live up to.
-
Perhaps he’s had a tip off that Cortese wants him for AC Milan once he’s got his feet under the table as CEO there
-
Perhaps you haven’t been on the forum long enough to meet Lord Duckhunter. I’m sure he’ll be along in a minute .. …
-
The only reason I’d have wanted him to stay in the post is so that he could have taken full ‘credit’ and abuse for the shit show he’s created. How far he is responsible for the transfers coming in is perhaps debatable but team selection and tactics were down to him.

They knew how to win matches from time to time as well.
