He's on a mega salary. And if press reports/rumours are correct he may get to knob Miss Pinder in his spare time. I can see why he thinks life is pretty good and doesn't let a little thing like football results get in the way of enjoying it. Who was it at our club who said something to the effect t of 'results aren't important' ? It might have been Semmens, who's now gone, but it seems that is another "philosophy" ( and we do seem to like those) which is pervasive through the club.

Might also want to add the failure to appeal decisions at the right time...I can't imagine many clubs (especially Liverpool, Man Utd or trhe other 'big' clubs) meekly accepting the shirt pull on Tall Paul v Leicester, or yesterday's double leading up to the Wolves second. Damn sure they'd have got a VAR review even if they'd needed to carry the ref over to the monitor. Interestingly the MOTD team all thought there had been fouls in the build up (And that our goal should have stood). I didn't think RM made enough of that either in his interview.

Another thing crossed my mind today. Selecting THB and Ramsdale isn’t so much having a look at them in the England squad, as Carsley’s early job application. He was apparently at Brentford at some point I believe. Personally my response to this is ‘fuck off’ . Rather stick with ‘Lego Head’ than bring ‘Billiard Ball Head’ here.

Reminds me of Adkins time in the EPL with us when we were facing another team at the bottom of the table (forgot opponent) whose manager was also under pressure. One of the tabloids labelled the match the 'El Sackicco' contest. This was put to Adklins in an interview and he responded with a hearty laugh. Imagine Alfie House or Blackmore putting this to RM and he'd probably go into one of his more prickly modes.
