  1. No Motson,Barry Davies,Coleman...or Wolstenholme, it can't be a real World Cup then can it? Who is the BBC's main commentator?
  2. I suspect he might have been here in January if AP had really rated and wanted him here.
  3. Don't share a facebook page with a certain Huddersfield fan by chance?
  4. So which half of Germany does he play for ?
  5. England go out at quarter final stage - prrobably on penalties. Rooney to be our highest ranking injury catastrophe in this years Broken Metatarsal Stakes.
  6. The first Lee Holmes ?
  7. Yes.Just use it as a vehicle to promote and justify the recruitment of the overpaid rubber faced Brummie tw^t Adrian Chiles.. Christ on a bike, how did World Cup tournaments manage before 'B' grade presenters were elevated to such status? (1970 - studio falling apart with Derek Dougan and Bob McNabb as experts p!sses on ITV's present line up).
  8. Radio Gloucestershire news say Jim Steele will not be opening his pub in Moreton in the Marsh tomorrow in protest.
  9. plummets
  10. Todays nominations: Steve Cotterill - hope not,he's too good for them Gareth Southgate - who is probably too nice a bloke to wish that on him
  11. But it does not shame Prince Andrewat all.Footage shown on the news she makes it abundantly clear he does not/will not know of the deal, and that he is above this, "whiter than white" is the phrase she uses.
  12. California... one was seriously injured and the others were just there to share the experience man...
  13. Pleased for Brett Ormerod and an unfashionable club going up. Hope they don't 'do a Burnley or Derby'.
  14. Although I would not begrudge Dave Jones a return to the Premiership, the same can't be said about their supporters getting there. Not a particular fan of Holloway but yes, good job this year, and hope Blackpool go up. Either of them are likely to do a 'Burnley' though.
  15. The only 'indescretion' was one in Spain. Shame he will not be in the squad for the WC.Despite his age and lack of pace he is probably the most dangerous crosser of a ball available to England.
  16. deflate
  17. Proper Bo-llocks more like.
  18. Did Pardew sign him for Charlton ?
  19. Agree with you on this really, and dare I suggest your F-in-Law is perhaps in a bit of a timewarp on this, trapped in the post 1998 World Cup outrage. After 1998 Beckham was public enemy no 1 after the stupid sending off v Argentina, and his 'image' for a few years after as a bit of a male tart did not help one iota. In more recent times though he has come across a lot more stable character and better.Despite the high profile marriage that also caused some resentment, that seems stable and he has gone from the tart to a family man image. In my view he has been overtaken in the 'poor role model' stakes by others,Rashley Cole ,a disgusting specimen,Terry and above all the Prostitute-Granny sh^gging Rooney who is probably the worst role model in the England set up. (Beckham leaving Mancs probably also helped enable my dislike of him thaw as well by the way.)
