    Ryan Fraser

I think the reputation was largely caused by his fall out with AFCB and refusal to play after his contract expired in June 2020. Think we'd have been pissed off if a player had refused to play for us when facing relegation at a crucial stage of the season. On a not dissimilar theme, will he be our player if we end up in the play offs ? Obviiously depends on what was agreed with Newcastle, but seem to recall a player whose deal hadn't extended to the play offs a few years ago.
  2. But they'd shit themselves at the prospect of the DEF arriving there
  3. Agreed, but we've been crying out for that for at least two seasons haven't we ? Not confident they'll address that now, it's almost a 'mental block'.
  4. He seems to have a bit of a grievance with us, didn't he make a dismissive comment about SFC on buying Burnley ? Suggested at the time that an approach to buy us was knocked back by those in control at the time.
  5. I like the idea of Brooks, but let's be honest we're not getting the player he was before his illness, as he's still making his way back to that (no criticism, good luck to him of course), so we don't know how he'd be on joining. Interestingly I noticed he was taken off at HT at QPR on Saturday, no idea if that was tactical, or he hadn't made any impact.
  6. Yes, but on the same sort of spectrum you get this fawning, arselicking type of shit starting up already: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/liverpool Talk of "quadruples' . Easy to forget how dislikeable the EPL is when you're not part of it week by week. Yet Klopp is bemoaning fixture congestion according to the press.
  7. They were 'maul' over that deal then.
  8. Have had a read on their forum, and made good reading. One of their supporters mentioned he got chance to shake hands with Chris Nicholl. Anyone see him ? (Perhaps he was introduced to the crowd at HT but I wasn’t able to go yesterday so no idea).
  9. Don't think that's the case. If it is then we were rooked on our Plymouth tickets.
  10. Is that Gloucester City’s ground from the 2007 flood?
  11. But definitely no skates
  12. Adapted for RM …
  13. Okay you’ve convinced me. It’s a 20-30 point deduction. (Sing about that Sheeran, you ginger gimp).
  14. Didn’t we have a few run-ins with Norwich at the time he played there ? Might have been around the time we used to get a red card or so against them (Benali springs to mind). Always thought Sutton was a nasty bastard when playing. Why the BBC have tried reinventing him and Savage into celebrities is beyond me. (Savage shitting in the referees toilet incident has been air brushed from history).
  15. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-suffolk-67895315 10 or15 point deduction for Ipswich surely.
  16. Have to wonder why RM couldn’t use him at Swansea and it seems was keen to get him out the door. Possibly attitude, but for whatever reason seems unlikely they’ll look to reunite.
  17. 21 today according to BBC stats
  18. How many times does he and the team need this drilling home to them. Again, its the lack of cutting edge up front that lets us down. And 12 corners. But ONE GOAL.
  19. Possibly three at the back, KWP and Manning further forward ? Not sure on that myself but a possibility perhaps.
  20. Who is that about ?
  21. Yes we were. We were reported to have made a bid
  22. Fair point. But a possible difference being the positions for Downes and THB were always likely to be available for them (barring a drop off in form), don’t think we could be as confident of Carvalho starting.
  23. Not sure we’d go for a player where the parent club want game time assurances.
  24. Excellent tracking back by Edozie. Hadn’t realised it was him at the match, but seeing it in highlights realised how far he’d come to make the tackle in. Vast improvement on the limp running back against Sunderland on their first goal earlier in the season.
  25. For me, the priority should be a forward, preferably one who plays in the middle, gets in the opposition penalty area .. and scores goals. Perhaps all the things we hoped Stewart to be.
