FFS Forster would have saved all 3, and knocked in that free kick.
-
With Stephens & Redmond not doing anything wrong, let’s blame McCarthy
-
Which is exactly how we’ve lined up.

Pony If you’re judging teams by points won, Arsenals team that never lost a game, had a worse season than Liverpool’s runners up 2 seasons ago. Please list his proven success’s.

You must have grown up with some weird kids, I didn’t know one kid who wanted to be a policeman. I bet when the neighbourhood nippers were playing cowboys and Indians, you always dressed up as the diversity officer campaigning for native Americans rights, and better conditions on the reservation.

If he was as good as some of our supporters think, he’d have gone by now . In the modern game a “one club player” is someone bigger clubs don’t particularly want.

Can you imagine the comments if Claude’s Leicester got done by 9 twice, and he suffered a record breaking run of defeats. Just imagine the ridicule he’d have gotten if he started blubbing after beating Liverpool in the middle of it. Just think of the fun we’d have had if Redknapp and the Skates had lost 9-0 twice and then Redknapp started crying after a 1-0 win. Yet, Ralph’s fan club seem to overlook it.

I found finishing 11th pretty underwhelming myself.

Another one obsessed with the colour of passports. Why are Remoaners so obsessed with them?

There’s no doubt that Claude suffered because of what went before him, had he followed Pelligrino & Hughes, he’d be lauded and his achievements given the respect they deserve. Equally had Ralph followed Koeman I’d imagine his record wouldn’t be give quite the fawning it receives from some. There’s no doubt his personality is a factor in his popularity, just as Puel’s lack of one is a factor on the trashing of his record. Some of the posts on here are truly bizarre, making excuses left, right, and centre, as well as praising the miraculous job he’s done. Talk about over egging the pudding. People have a blind spot about his record. Two absolutely embarrassing thrashing aside, he’s produced some woeful performances and some weird selections. The home game against Tottenham was one of the most tactility inept defensive performances I’ve seen in nearly 50 years of watching and lately his rabbit in the headlights look during a number of games, needs questioning. There’s a fine line between a consistent tactical approach and a coaching by numbers look, at times he looks incredibly inflexible and incapable of wrong footing his opposite number. On the other side of the ledger, he oversaw a fantastic run at the end of last season and the beginning of this, as well as some stand out performances sprinkled along the way. The players seem to genuinely like him and want to play for him and he does seem interested in the club and its development. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than for him to still be in charge in 5 years time, but until he earns it, I’ll keep my hero worship under wraps a little bit longer.

I didn’t really give a shite about these 2 Wokies but I’m missing Unforgotten to watch this pony. Fuck me Eddie Murphy looks awful in drag and princess seems to have bright red legs. Her lips look they would play a good tune though.

Given the players and situations. I think Claude did a very good job. I think Ralph has done a pretty good job so far. Ask me again at the end of the season.
-
Last season was his, he didn’t take over from anyone.
-
not last season he didn’t. He was manager for half the previous one. Last season was his, and his alone. 11th, ain’t great.
-
Puel didn’t have VvD after Jan, he had Stephens & Yoshida. The point I’m making isn’t about the merits of either manager, it’s the absolute state of the Ralphettes and the “miraculous “ job he’s doing, and the double standards they use to promote their bizarre claims of greatness. If you’re judging Ralph’s tenure as such a magnificent sucsess, then Puel deserves similar praise. 11th is par. No more, no less. What he does second season rests on the cup game. Losing to both Brentford & Boscombe, combined with another 9-0 and a record breaking run of defeats, is unacceptable imo. 11th & that, we’re in Hughes territory.

Last season 15th highest spenders in England and finished......11th, miraculous.... Claude Puel season, 13th highest spend. Finished 8th, and got to a final.....Fucking useless, Claude out....
-
You don’t sack the manager based on 12 games, but you can describe his achievements as “miraculous” based on half a season. The people wanting him sacked are pathetic, just as pathetic as the Ralph fans boys wetting their knickers over being top for one day, having a decent second half of last season, and beating Liverpool and crying about it afterwards (something some of us thought was embarrassing at the time, and in light of recent Liverpool results looks even more embarrassing now). You talk about “fickle” I’ve said all along I’ll judge him at the end of this season, but if he loses in the quarter final, nobody should be in any doubt that he will have delivered 2 distinctly average seasons.
-
If you’re comparing Long with Adams at least have the decency to compare them at similar stages of their Saints career. In Longs first 2 season at the club, he was far better than Adams has been so far.
-
11th isn’t “miraculous”, and Mark Hughes managed to keep a similar group of players up. Picking a run of games where a side win them all as proof of managerial greatness, is as stupid as picking a run of defeats as a sign of them being useless. Managers should be judged over a whole season, so Ralph should be judged on last season and then on this season.

If Alyson Rudd is involved it’s a no from me. Terrible...
-
Well done to Lurch for only letting one in against Everton and keeping a clean sheet against the mighty Sheffield Utd. Shame he didn’t match McCarthy’s record in the corresponding fixtures as we’d have an extra point, but fair play. Let’s see how he gets on the rest of the season before thinking we’ve found the new Lev Yashin.

Disgraceful... Dont you know everyone employed by the NHS is a hero, never has our health been owed to so few. They were fighting a war for us. They deserve a 25% pay rise, whilst the rest of us mere mortals deserve Fuck all. I bet you didn’t even clap them.....

Redmond & Ings up top.

The worst VAR handball incident was when they reviewed whether the ball had gone out of play, and forgot to check if it hit the forwards hand. I bet there’s a Watford forum where people bring it up every t8me there’s a handball in another game.
