  1. He’s ok. Big and strong, but lacking a bit of real quality. I doubt we could get anyone much better, unless we got really lucky in the transfer window, and if we did, I doubt they’d stay long. Doesn’t look out of place in our squad but not really good enough for a step up. In other words, perfect.
  2. I’m not a Tory. I voted for the pinko to Get Brexit Done.
  3. Some of our supporters think Mike Dean has a personal vendetta against us. When it comes to making excuses our supporters shouldn’t really be taking the piss out of Liverpool, we’re right up there with them this season.
  4. Spot on. It’s clear Boris is avoiding decisions, he’s trying to cover his arse. Advisors advise, and ministers decide, lockdown measures and the relaxing of them, is a political decisions, not a medical one. The great lady would have made decisions one way or the other, as would Blair. All this hiding behind SAGE shows a lack of backbone imo.
  5. Most local referees are jobsworth’s, and I played until I was 47 so saw a lot of them. You strike me as a typical local ref. Were you also a traffic warden?
  6. So you post that we didn’t have the finances to get in the players Ralph wanted, yet you haven’t got a clue who these players are.
  7. Fuck me. I hope Redmond is watching this. Players running at opposition players, not turning back and passing sideways
  8. Good goal though
  9. Shame they did against Leeds and at OT though.
  10. Haven’t the teams we played also had a crowded schedule?
  11. Which players did Ralph want that we wouldn’t pay for? Realistic ones, not fucking Messi.
  12. You’re easily satisfied. Just goes to show what a great job Claude Puel did with similar players, once VvD got injured. Ive never once called for Ralph to be sacked, not once. However, he’s over rated by a large section of the fan base. He’s lucky he followed Hughes & Pelligrino, had he followed Koeman and Poch, he’d be looked at rather more objectively.
  13. Or even 2 offs
  14. Yet again, manipulating dates to suit the cult of Ralph. Why 2020, why not 2021? No, that would suit. Managers should be judged on seasons, nothing else. Playing everyone twice, that’s a fair judgement period. 11th isn’t great, it’s ok, but certainly not anything special and certainly not deserving of the praise he receives. You yourself, have said it’s par. If we finish below 11th this season, he’d have given us a par (your words) season and a below par season......
  15. I do remember reading about a kit being designed to rip if tugged gently. The thinking was that it would highlight the pull on the shirt, and make it appear worse that it was. Put it like this, had Woods’ shirt been ripped at the seams, would the referee have given a penalty. Maybe not, but it would certainly have highlighted the shirt pull.
  16. I’d take that.
  17. Nearly as silly as the people who think everything is suddenly alright because we’ve beaten Sheffield Utd, Boscombe and Burnley and are going to get to 40 points. I said pages and pages back to judge him over the season. But the Cult don’t do so, they pick sections of seasons to justify their hero worship. Last season we were 11th, which is pretty average, this season is looking pretty average as well. Does that justify the hype?
  18. Dear god. Yet again you’ve got your red and white specs on. Is there ever a game where you don’t see some perceived injustice.
  19. He was fucking woeful against Everton. He couldn’t handle Calvert-Lewin I dread to think what woods would have done to him today.
  20. Diversity department will be on to them first thing Monday. Shockingly white and male today. Disgraceful
  21. Fuck me, that ugly mug. Perhaps there’s hope for me yet....
  22. Should have saved it. I’d be disappointed if he’s not disappointed. That aside, deserves the number 1 slot for the rest of the season . Let’s get to the end of season then assess when we know who is available and how he’s played week in week out. The juries still out imo.
  23. Deserved win and finally a little bit of fight. However, start like that against Leicester and it’ll be semi final over. Forster had his best game since Koeman days. Bednarek was dog shite. Vesty & JWP didn’t quite look right, but Bertrand did ok. Diallo pretty poor and without OR our central midfield Is weak as Piss. Theo found some good positions between the lines, picking up some intelligent positions but his execution was poor apart from the goal. Personally I think we look better with him in the side, more dangerous and a better shape. Redmond was Redmond and Ings showed his class with that finish. Armstrong MotM in my opinion As for game management from Ralph , well we got over the line. He’d have got hammered had they equalised. We seemed to have them on the rack at 3-2 but the change handed them the momentum. Yes, we had chances to extend the lead, but I’m not convinced packing the defence is our best option . But fair play to Ralph, we saw it out.
