  1. All that matters is can we get 4 more points in 7 games than Huddersfield can get in 5. Personally, I think we can. The next 2 will really seal their fate. Home to Watford & Everton anything less than 4 points in those games and they’re really in the mire. Their last 3 games are horrendous. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. The city result means provided Utd beat West Brom next week, City will have something riding on the Swansea game the following week. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Course he’s taking nonsense. If us staying up will be a miracle, what is WBA or Stoke doing so. I don’t think future historians will look back on 2017/18 season and say “remember the great escape, when Southampton came from 3 points behind the rest, with 2 games in hand & 7 left to play”. Please don’t tell me this great escape nonsense is going to catch on. We’ve got enough embarrassing songs without the great escape , now you’re gonna believe us, blaring out. 4. ****ing Harry Kane wouldn’t have scored more than 10 playing for us this season. We couldn’t put the ball in the net last season with JRod being one of the main culprits missing sitters at the start of the season. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Don’t talk nonsense man. A miracle would be WBA staying up. 3 points adrift with 2 games in hand , with 7 still to play, there’s not one neutral who’ll call that a miracle if we stay up. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  7. What war on drugs? We haven’t had one. The past 50 years drug enforcement has been heading one way, towards liberalisation. Calling for the legalisation of certain drugs is a legitimate argument to have, but it shouldn’t based on the pretence that we’ve fought a war against them, or that our drug laws are draconian. They haven’t been that since Marriane Faithful was using mars bars as dildos. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Did you say the same when Luke McCormick, Plymouth keeper killed those two nippers. Had there been any perspective put on the tributes I wouldn’t have posted. But nowhere in all the gushing “he was a true gentlemen”, “was a lovely fella” type love fest on here or in the media did anyone mention that he was a flawed individual or that he had issues. I even heard him called a role model on the radio, someone on here’s compared him to Sir Bobby Robson . Had he killed someone whilst driving ****ed, he’d have been vilified, called a monster etc. Nobody would be defending him as having an illness if that happened. So he’s called a gentleman, a role model, not because he didn’t drive whilst incapable of standing up, but because he didn’t kill someone when he did. If that’s a gentleman god help us. 9. And it’s in the New Statesman, no bias there then. The Remoaners will never forgive him for backing Leave. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Tell that to the parents of my school mate who got killed by a drunk driver. I'd rather be a c u n t that posts shiete on a forum than a c u n t who fawns over a drink driver. But don't worry I'm done on this thread, it's making me ill reading all the tributes to St Butch. Just bear this in mind, it wasn't one mistake, one instance . He got caught 3 times in half a dozen years, he could easily of killed someone's kid. Whose the c u n t then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I guess we're overlooking his 3 drink driving convictions the past 5 years and the countless times he'd endangered innocent people's lives by driving whilst intoxicated. Yeah, lets overlook it because he was a decent "fella". Sorry he passed, sorry for his family & RIP and all that. But the saint hood that had been bestowed on him the past couple of days is nauseating. I lost someone from school because of somebody like Wilkins, so I'm sorry but I won't be joining in the mass eulogies Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. There’s a difference between poor players, poor decisions and players being unprofessional & disgraceful. FF for all his faults tried his best, Pel for all his poor decisions made them in good faith, believing them to be right. Had VvD put as much effort & dedication in as FF, we’d have been ok now. I’m not in anyway glossing over other factors, but the behaviour of our best player, his lack of professionalism & respect for the club shouldn’t be forgotten in the rush to blame Tadic, Carrillo, Long and others. They’ve clearly shown they are incapable of better performances to pick up an extra point here and there, VvD was too selfish, too much of a **** to want to do so. There’s a big difference in my eyes. I’m not even talking about now, I’m talking about the period Aug-Jan when we were paying his wages. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. One player who should be ashamed is VvD. Had he played properly & been professional at the start of the season we’d have 3 or 4 more points imo. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  18. I’m not as pessimistic as everyone else, I think there’s a decent player in there. He came on leaps and bounds last year, but has regressed terribly this season. The club probably thought the improvement he showed last year would continue and therefore pushed him too far up the queue. He needed taking out of the firing line weeks ago , but with Yoshida injured & Wes just as bad he’s had to stay in. With proper coaching, a senior partner, and senior pros actually doing their job, he could have dipped in and out of the side and learnt his trade. He’s been chucked in at the deep end and the club are in danger of ruining him. The stuff he’s poor at can be coached out of him, but he needs a dominate figure beside him. There’s no doubt in my mind that had he been in the “Yoshida” role during Poch’s reign we’d be raving about him. Equally, had Chambers emerged this season, there’d be threads like this about him. If we stay up he probably needs another loan out to regain his confidence & toughen him up a bit more. If we go down he’ll need a coach that’s actually going to work on his weaknesses & a defensive set up that’ll help him. Let’s see whether the lad has enough character to put this season behind him, if he has I still think he’s worth preserving with. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Shame we didn’t ship them out and kept Puel instead. I don’t think there’s one player I give a Shiite about. Bertrand, Cedric, Long, Gabbi, the lot of them can **** off as far as I’m concerned. They got their way and got rid of nasty Claude & look how they’ve repaid the club for that backing. Puel was professional, honest & diligent every single minute he was at the club, none of the players can say the same thing. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. What a load of pony. You've got as much chance, if not more, of playing at Wembley in the championship as the bottom half of the premier league . The chances of being in a play off final are far higher than a cup semi final or league cup final. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. He also had OR playing out of his skin, which gave us more protection. The problem with the article is that it appears to absolve other players of the blame. Had our full backs preformed as woefully last season as this, we’d have lost more games. Had the midfield given the ball away as much as they’ve done the past 2 games, the same. Sat, the first goal was absolutely key, and lemina gave it away whilst Jack & Wes were up for a corner. Our centre halves are shell shocked, and they have 2 experienced pros beside them that are hiding & going through the motions, instead of helping them. There’s 2 types of coaching, there’s the team structure, coaching of the team, and then there’s one to one coaching, of making players better. Puel appeared to coach players to be better players, OR a prime example, JWP another. Yoshida got better as the season went on, learning from his mistakes. Look at the contrast between Redmond and Stirling, now I’m not comparing them as players or in ability, but look how different Pep has got him playing. He’s learning, he’s opening his body up more, he’s taking up better positions, his finishing is better, he’s improving. Redmond is playing the exact same game, every time he steps on the pitch. His faults aren’t being worked on, tactically he’s no different. It’s damn hard work, so maybe our players don’t want to listen or put it in. Our players do get better, but they get better naturally as they get older and figure things out for themselves. I don’t see any evidence that we iron out their faults through intensive coaching. We seem to be doing the same with our centre halves, it’s sink or swim. A decent coach, together with senior pros could make them better players. Drill them, until it sinks in. Watch videos, talk through mistakes. They keep making the same positional mistakes, the same decision making mistakes, the same awareness errors. They’re either idiots that don’t take it in or not enough time is being spent on their development. I know which one I think it is. I’m not saying they’d be world beaters, but there’s something there. I’d bet my bottom dollar that had Puel stayed they’d be better players than they are now. It’s also absolutely mad to play two youngsters together , it’ll ruin them both. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  23. According to Labours previous rulings it is an anti Semitic group. It called Israel “a steaming pile of sewage, that needs to be properly disposed of”. When Naz Shah said similar she was suspended from the party and subsequently admitted what she said was anti Semitic. They can’t be bending their own definition of what is anti Semitic because Steptoe attended a meeting, surely not. As I said in my original post, he’s trolling. If it’s no big deal, why were the party at pains to point out he was attending “ in a personal capacity”. It was “a very clear two fingered salute at mainstream British Jewry,” according to Gideon Falter, the chairman of the Campaign Against Antisemitism. John Woodcock called it “irresponsible and dangerous”. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Steptoe is just trolling now. Tonight he’s attended an event with a group that claims any Jews that oppose Jezza are “non Jews” ,and has called for the destruction of Israel. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
