FFS my Makem mate was going to stay at ours and we were both going to go. It’s 3 days before Xmas, useless ****s can’t even get that right. I can’t even go up there, as it clashes with Boscombe home. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It’s not VAR that was harsh, it was the ref. It was his decision. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Dusan Tadic to Ajax - Undisclosed (£10M)
Lord Duckhunter replied to Feyenoord1908's topic in The Saints
Some of the clowns on here seem to have incredibly short memories. If he wants to go , he needs letting go. Look what happened last time we insisted a bloke stayed. Tadic doesn’t strike me as the knuckling down type if denied a move, so if he’s determined to go it makes sense to sell. Had this come up in March I think most would say get rid, but fair play to the guy, he showed some great commitment and ability the last 7 or so games. He can be hit and miss but he’s got a wonderful touch, up there with Bally & Matt as the best I’ve seen in a Saints shirt. But at the end of the day he’s nearing 30, we’ve had 4 years out of him and he’s not going to get much of a break this summer, so could possibly dip next season. Personally I’d rather keep him, but it’s not the end of the world if he goes. As for release clauses. We keep hearing various players have them, but I can’t recall a player that’s left after ones been activated. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

****ing hell, are you this much of a twt in real life. Is it really that hard to understand that if your choice is 2 similar sized clubs, and you were happy to play for either, a player may want to be a few miles away from his family rather than a couple of hours away. Clearly if it was Leicester or Juve , the player would move away to further his career. But if an Italian chooses Juve over Bayern for family reason, it doesn’t make him a mummy’s boy or some sort of pussy. Most normal people when given a similar choice would rather be near their parents, brothers, sisters, uncles etc, if possible. He’s not turning down a bigger club because he’s pussy whipped, like a certain Southampton legend did, he’s chosen between similar. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What a load of pony. We did compete to sign him, a fee was agreed. If that’s not “competing” I don’t know what is, the player just choose another similar club. Are you so arrogant and deluded that you think every single player we want, should sign. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I was at Newcastle when Bertrand was garbage, I was at West Ham when Bertrand was garbage . I was at st Mary's when having chucked a 2 goal lead away Bertrand left the pitch laughing and joking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Absolutely this. He talked about complacency in the linked article, but nobody was more complacent than him, at times it bordered on disgraceful. Leadership and organisation isn’t always about shouting and bollocking people, you can go about it differentl. But he showed a complete and utter lack of it 75% of the season. His performances for Saints in a relegation battle cost him his place. He was part of the problem, part of the reason we were in a relegation battle. I hope he realises that, even if his fan boys on here don’t. Had he played to the level he had in previous years he’d be going, it’s as simple as that. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Wasn’t Aisha, one of Mo’s wives aged about 9, classic case of grooming right there. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

No thanks. Hojberg, OR and lemina are a good balance if you ask me. I wouldn’t want OR & Morgan in the same side, it would be way too pedestrian. Hojberg adds a bit of energy. OR has been a better player the past 2 seasons, there’s no way I’d leave him out for Morgan. If he wants to come a sit on the bench, then that’s fine, provided his fee and wages reflect that. Jimmy Case would be fine in the modern game, he could play a bit as well. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

If I called Ali, Cassius Clay, you’d be wetting your pants and calling me all sorts. I see a lot of soft arsed lefties on social media keep refusing to call him Tommy Robinson. I hope he self defines as Tina Robinson than you’ll all be really confused, although it’s probably better he waits until he’s released for that one. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Or Pell who played international football for The Argies & also played for Barca. And of course there maybe some fossils who might remember a certain Burnley centre half named Merrington. That midfield though, Bally, Souness & Hoddle. They’d be in and around the best 11 I’ve ever seen play, even if we weren’t picking from a Saints connection. **** me, once you add Strachan they’d be able to play , kick or run any team off the park. I was speaking to a Kenyan Hooker at the weekend, she reckons it's Newcastle away first game, at least I think that's what she said, she had her mouth full at the time. Make of that what you will. Love & light Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'll be happy if Glasgows right and it is Man U home. Looking like I'm going to be away that weekend , it's one game I'll be able to use ticket exchange and will sell it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Don’t know about players winning the league, but I reckon our managers could. **** me, the midfield is some classy unit. Although the keeper looks a bit out of his depth. GK-Nigel Adkins Jan Poortvliet Koeman Chris Nichol George Burley Strachan Hoddle Souness Bally Mark Hughes Paul Sturrock Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Mark Hughes in his prime was better than Ron Davies. Morgan not a patch on Jimmy Case in his prime, I’d also have Mark Wright over either centre half, other than that, pretty decent. Ryan Bertrand doesn’t belong in that company, but LB was the weakest position and the one I struggled with. I went with Mark Dennis, but again, he’s not really in the same class as the other 10. Why do you refuse to call him by his chosen name, I bet you would if he wanted to be Tina Robinson or Mohamed Akram. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

As people are putting Bale in I presume “ all players regarded as in their prime” means career prime, rather than Saints prime. If so, here’s mine. They’d have to play in a 4-3-1-2 GG-Shilton RB-Mick Mills CB-Mark Wright CB-Toby LB-Mark Dennis CM-Jimmy Case RM-Alan Ball LM- Bale 10-MLT CF-Kevin Keegan CF-Mark Hughes Subs- Peter Osgood, Alan Shearer , Mane, Killer, Neimi, Steve Williams, Terry Paine. What a load of pony. Lawrie introduced plenty of youngsters, bloody fantastic players they were as well. Mark Wright, Danny Wallace, Steve Williams, Steve Moran, Reuben Agboola, Nick Holmes. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Err, decades. How about the following 2 seasons which were even better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He’d do well in France or even Spain, not sure he’s got the physicality for England’s top clubs. If we’re playing a back 3 he’s plenty good enough for us. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
