Pedant alert. When Wigan won it they hadn’t yet been relegated, they still had 2 league games to play which had they won they’d have been safe. So technically they won it and then got relegated, we’d be the first to get relegated then win it. Lol When do clubs become championship teams, the day of relegation, the day the fixtures are released or the first day of the following season? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

That’s it. If Parris the archetypal pinko, hates him so much , he gets my vote. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

If we are relegated and then win the cup, would we technically be a championship side? The first in the modern era to win it twice outside the top flight. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

FA Cup Qtr Final Saints v Wigan or Man City AWAy

So can't be Friday because they play midweek (although they could change), can't be Monday because of internationals and can't be Sunday because of this run you mention. If it's Sat and a clash with Skates/Oldham 12:30 KO is going to be better for police than 17:30 and the risk of travel together. Add to that the fact I can't see the BBC wanting our game as their Sat choice, all leaves 12:30 sat pretty much nailed on. Good job I'm not a betting man as I'd have lost my dough. I’m sure the FA will be desperate for Spurs to get knocked out or draw the winner of us against Wigan in Semi final. Jose will have a field day if it’s Utd Spurs at Wembley. Problem FA have got is if they change semi final and Spurs then win, can they then not change the actual final. They can’t change the final, so they’ll have to tough out the semi final. Don't know if it makes any difference but BT have got Liverpool V Watford on Sat 17th at 5:30pm. They clearly won't pick that slot, so if there's a game in that slot it'll be a BBC game. That's got a big club written all over it. If I was a betting man I'd go for us Sunday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Agree 100% And yes, he would absolutely keep his job. We got a stroke of fortune with Wigan beating City but chances are we'll have to beat 2 of Chelsea , Spurs or Utd, to win the cup. If he does that he deserves the bloody job. Personally I don't think either will happen. We'll stay up, but won't win the cup Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You seem to be well up together with his voting record. How many times has he voted against a "Mansion tax", you said he had consistently done so, so how many? Personally I can't ever remember a mansion tax put before parliament, but stand to be corrected Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Talk about twisting things. It wasn't a "I don't care about the result" comment at all. You did actively want us to lose. Here's the exact quote copied from the thread "I can honestly say this is the first game I have ever attended where I have wanted saints to lose" . Have some honesty man, say that you did actively want Saints to lose. Admittedly it was only once you wanted our team to lose , but it's once more than a bell end like me has. Lol, when people posted they wanted a decent cup run, these are the exact words you wrote in response. “I can honestly say this is the first game I’ve ever attended where I wanted Saints to lose”. No doubt you’ll quickly be rewriting that one when you’re at Wembley cheering us on. Loyal support through thick and thin. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

When were these votes? Anyway what's JRM got to do with Tory Government, he's a backbencher. Every party has head bangers on their back benches, although some gerrymander theirs into a leadership contest. For every JRM whose voting record is there for his constituency voters to see and act upon, there's a Keith Vav, selling washing machines to nubile young men behind their backs. Anybody who claims they didn't realise that "diplomats" from the Warsaw Pact countries were in fact spies is either a half wit or a liar. Corbyn could be found to have taken Russian money (he's taken Iranian) for information and his sheep supporters would still claim it's a smear or it was 30 years ago. The only thing he could do that would be unpalatable to lefties is vote Brexit. We know he could grab and chick by the throat and say he's going to **** her, and not be condemned outright. Anyway at the end of the day it's not his lemmings or the people that hate him that'll make any difference, it's the voters in the Tory/Labour marginals he needs to convince. Will this story help in that cause, pretty doubtful. Is there more going to come out, you can bet your life there is. There's a reason this incompetent prime minister is still ahead in the polling, and Jezza can see it every time he looks in the mirror Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was told by a close member of Lallana’s family (believe me, close enough to know) that he was on over 100k when first transferred, so I’d be absolutely amazed if Mane is getting a pay rise that takes him to 80k. If true, he needs to change his agent Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Wonder what Corbyn’s fan boys make of his last few days. Meetings with Czech “diplomat “, which may or may not have led to payment. Poor old Jezza didn’t realise he was a spy, who would have thought “diplomat” was actually spy in the Cold War era. He then tweets attacking the Government for the death of a poor homeless chap. Before it emerges he was an illegal alien pedophile on the run. Vote cancelled at labour meeting because his candidate was losing & bird pushed off stage by lefty bully. And finally St Brendan Cox is exposed as a pervert, hilarious watching Labour virtual signallers defending him on Sunday TV and having their hypocrisy exposed for all to see. Meanwhile the polls continue to be neck and neck. It’s all going to fall apart, hopefully not too soon that they can get some moderates in before the takeover of the party is complete. I’d imagine we go for the best players available within our budgets. Do you seriously believe that if a regular starter for Celtic was available, good enough and within our price range we wouldn’t want him because of this change of strategy. I can see the conversation now “ Hey Les there’s this guy at Celtic, will be the next VvD, available for £15 million and his agent is open to a deal” “How many games has he played this season” “Every one” “Sorry not interested, haven’t Malaga got a bench warmer, you know our policy has changed”. Even if your ridiculous theory had some truth in it, the bench warmer policy still delivered our 4th cup final appearance in living memory and one of our best league positions in our entire history. Without looking it up, I doubt we’ve had more than a dozen seasons better than 8th. The original question is why the board haven’t been sacked after delivering errors “time after time”. If you’re going to change the entire board every time the side has a poor season, regardless of what they’ve delivered previously, it’s a recipe for complete and utter mayhem. Had he said that then it would of been ridiculous. Probably as ridiculous as people taking a forum myth and posting it as fact. What he actually said was “Nathan Redmond can be Southampton's Thierry Henry”. Redmond is a good player. I can see a player lots of qualities and for me it’s a pity to leave him on the right. I can see in the future he can play in as a striker. He even added “Redmond and Thierry are two different players but I see similarities between them. They have the ability to shoot with their right foot and to curl the ball.” Absolutely nowhere did he call him “The next Thierry Henry. If I said Matt is Southampton’s George Best, does that mean I’m calling him the next Bestie, saying Ted Bates is Southampton’s Matt Busby, doesn’t mean he’s a better manager than Sir Matt. He clearly meant that like Henry, Redmond could be a winger that’s converted to a striker and be better for it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Behave. “Time and time again”. 7th,6th,8th, 2 European qualifications and one cup final since Cortese left. So your “time and time again” is actually three quarters of one season. Standing by people who’ve delivered in the past on the basis of a few months struggle is not a “joke” , it’s what most employers do. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Yes, agreed. We've brought so many strikers since Gabbi scored 6 in his first 4. Before that Austin took ages to get off the mark, I remember thinking during those 7 long minutes , is he ever going to score. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

God, from his couple of performances you can see he lacks mental toughness. Wow, you really are an expert aren’t you. Makes our two wins away at West Brom even better, we managed to grind out those results with a flake up front. Mind you Dawson, McAuley, Evans and Hegazi are pretty soft, not much mental toughness needed to play upfront alone against those fairies Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

I wouldn’t take your opinions from a podcast if I was you, Gab Marcotti predicted Lamina would be a flop on The Game podcast. Why don’t you give us your opinions. From what you’ve seen so far what makes you think he’ll be a flop. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
