His idea of taking responsibility is saying it’s his fault the players aren’t implementing his philosophy properly. His implying that he’s right & it’s just the execution that’s wrong. He’s blaming others for his tactical shortcomings.

This is what boils my piss about him. He sets the culture at the club, & the culture is excessive possession football. People laugh at Fat Sam and others over their 4-4-fucking 2 football, but this blokes as inflexible as any of those dinosaurs. It’s all well and good saying we shouldn’t be playing that particular way in that particular instance, but he stands there clapping like a performing seal when we pass our way out of tight situations, safe in the knowledge the cameras will catch him showing the world “that’s MY philosophy “. Added to the fact he wants us to play like that, the players have no out ball even if they wanted to launch it. We’ve got no CF to challenge and hold the ball up and no wide men capable of chasing into the channels. I’ve fucking no doubt Lego wouldn’t be applauding a centre half who hoofed it straight back to the oppositions keeper when under pressure. He’s a fucking pony merchant.

Team selection is 100% the managers.

Bleksley is spot on about most law and order issues. Top man….

That’s the one I’ve got. Some great IPA’s. Vocation life & death, although it’s a bit pricey, is the best. Free delivery if you order 2 so I normally get a punk ipa, then try something different. It is absolutely like having a pint in the ale house, best home drinking experience by a mile. Get about 9 pints out of it, there’s some iffy reviews but I’ve had it a year and it’s been absolutely spot on.

Looks like our new Elyounoussi to me. In the side because he’s disciplined off the ball, fills certain holes and does exactly what the manager wants him to do. Get him down the middle or stick his arse on the bench.

Daniel Sturridge doing a Clinton Morrison impression, how do these duds get jobs?

Used to be a real ale man, 100% no question. But I think the quality is going downhill, probably down to lack of experience in bar staff. The real ale pubs are still good, but you used to be able to get a decent pint in most places and that’s not the case now. I’ve got a beer machine at home, so that’s started the move towards IPA”s. Punk, Neck oil & Camden my favourites. Real ale wise, tanglefoot still top despite H&W fucking around with the strength. Taylor’s landlord, if it’s kept well & Hop Head my top 3.

Nearly every single friggin team in the league & most of the league below play possession football. Lego hasn’t reinvented the wheel, he’s just taken it to the extreme.
-
Ruben Selles won 2 of his first 3 games in charge, and got 8 points from his first 6, so it’s not too outlandish to think 0 points so far is under performing. Particularly considering the fixtures.
-
More importantly, what were his passing stats.

I’m patiently waiting for Adam Armstrong to play for England……

I think twice the amount of deaths compared to the previous 20 years combined isn’t something to celebrate or is in any way positive, but each to their own.

The official scores on the doors from this years culturally enriching largely peaceful Notting Hill Carnival are in. 61 incidents where police officers were assaulted. 8 stabbings. 349 arrests 53 Assaults on emergency workers 13 sexual offences 2 deaths

We weren’t going down under Nigel, we’d improved already.

Spot on, too many of our nods are like star struck teenagers, grateful for one glimpse of the promised land. My arse. We’ve been in the top flight most of the past 60 years, we’re not Luton, or Swindon or even fucking Boscombe. We’re an established top flight club that has slipped out of the league occasionally. If Lego doesn’t put his ego aside and start using tactics and systems suited to the players we have, he needs to fuck off for someone who will. We’ve had 3 pretty easy games (once Newcastle were down to 10) so to come away with 0 points is bad enough, but to continue playing in the way that gave us 0 points, is fucking criminal.

Russ would leave his chin wide open, cant defend properly. You’d have to kill Jonesy to beat him. Russ hasn’t got the killer instinct
-
Russ would mince about looking good, but Jones only needs to bide his time & Russ will make a mistake and hand it to him on a plate.

He’s got this international break to clear his head, and to work with the players not on international duty. He’s got to work out tweaks to his tactics, rethink some of his beliefs and put into practise lessons he’s learnt from the 3 games. I’d them give him until the next international break to see if he’s willing to adapt. It’s not necessarily about results, but if we’re still making the same mistakes, playing the same way & insisting Jack Stephen’s is Beckenbauer then we need to pull the pin at the next break. If there’s sign of progress & of flexibility, then he should stay. But the club shouldn’t go down because of Lego heads ego. He needs to change & change quickly.
-
Even this is bollocks. He was quick enough to ditch AM despite the credit he had from the play offs. He picked the wrong side, a real bloke would hold his hands up & just say that. He’s trying to kid us his fuck up is because he’s such a great guy. He’s a pony merchant.
-
The worst thing about the first goal was we’d minced about and nearly conceded 30 seconds prior to that. If, as Lego claims, he didn’t want us “passing it about in those situations “ why wasn’t he going nuts on the line after the first mistake, why wasn’t he shouting for us to knock it long. A few minutes till half time, we got let off the hook and we then still played the same way. Fucking 100% down to the manager, because every player left to his own devices would have breathed a sigh of relief over the let off, and hit it long 30 seconds later. If he continues to blame the players, he’ll have lost them by Oct, no bother.

Yeah how we miss the goal scoring talent Jones had at his disposal. Che Adams, Mara & the goal machine Theo Walcott.
