  1. Baz lets those 2 in today, and there would be posters saying they were impossible to save. Today should be the end of any Baz debate…
  2. He got 12 from 12 with a back 3 when he took over, so it’s a bit early to be thinking anything’s changed.
  3. And the keeper is light years ahead of Baz, Bree is light years ahead of Edwards or whoever else you’d put in at full back, and Ross Stewart is a far better centre forward than AA. Tonda didn’t have Bree, didn’t have Wellington, didn’t have a proper keeper & didn’t have Ross for most of his spell in charge. If we’d have had Baz in nets, Manning at full back & not played Jack Stephen’s (as 90% of posters wanted), with AA as the centre forward, you think we win today? Because I don’t. Baz isn’t saving those 2…. Whilst it isn’t “rocket science “ it’s a bit more nuanced than people are making out.
  4. I’d have thought the answer was OBVIOUS. Probably because James Bree was playing for Charlton, Ross Stewart & Wellington were injured had something to do with it. Im also not sure many would have had Jack in their starting 11 either.
  5. Best performance since Tonga’s interim spell. Keeper makes a massive difference, together with a proper centre forward. Baz lets two in today, no doubt about that & Ross’ presence and movement is so much better than AA. Wellingtons best game imo, and Bree was excellent as well. Whoever made the decision to loan him out needs shooting. Special mention to jack who gets a lot of clog but was good today. Leo not at his best, but that makes the result even more satisfying.
  6. You couldn’t see what would happen here if Corbyn got in, so you’re not really in a position to lecture anyone….
  7. 😂😂. Let me guess, they agreed with you?
  8. If Ross Stewart had a normal injury record, Armstrong wouldn’t even be in the starting 11 most weeks. £15 mil, fucking hell, sell…
  9. Didn’t you vote for this?
  10. Load of old pony. If I scored 15 goals for Manchester City, would that be “a very good record”, or should I have scored 30. People moan about Tonda only producing decent performances in a small number of games, well “Arma” is exactly the same this season. He was pony last season, and he’s been pony the majority of this season. If we had a very good championship striker Sunday, we’d have won. I don’t need XG to see that.
  11. Load of old pony. He misses too many easy chances to be “prolific”. Apart from a purple patch when Tonda first took over, he’s been pony this season. Part of the problem, not the solution….
  12. Isn’t the boob whisperer a Manc? Maybe he could put his money where his mouth is and stand in his home city….
  13. Fucking hell, we’ve got some fannies supporting us. The ref was excellent, nothing wrong with a few robust tackles and a bit of needle. It’s a man’s game for gods sake. Wish more referees were like it, players might stop rolling around like big girls, if there were.
  14. Leeds battering Everton, should be at least 2 up. Our “effort” last season is looking more and more pathetic every week. Lego headed cock thinking we could out football sides….
  15. Exactly this. Calling Reform UK the Tory party MK2 is just wrong. The soaking wet Cameron wing of the party is still there. The more right leaning defections, the more the remaining Tory party will resemble the one all the people who will never vote for it, think it should be. Let’s hope there’s more, then Rory Stewart, Grieve, Gauke etc can “ get their party back”. The electorate will then have their say, and they’ll get a shellacking which will make July 24 look like a great result.
  16. There’s a decision to be made regarding Bree now. Do we sell him to Charlton for peanuts or keep him & lose him for fuck all in the summer. Personally, I’d offer him a new deal, I doubt he’s on much money & he’s a good championship squad option. But I can’t see us offering one, or him even wanting to sign one.
  17. Perhaps we could get his wife instead
  18. He did have fellows & Scienza on together, but one got injured. Unless you’d have left an injured player on, you would have to have made that change. So you couldn’t “spread out” those 2 substitution windows. When would you have brought Charles on then, he was our most effective sub, would you have brought him on with Fellows, before him, or after?
  19. So what different changes would you have made?
  20. There’s a lot of deserved criticism come Tonda’s way lately, but I agree, some of it is unfair today. Bringing Bree in was a good decision, and everybody was calling out for a back 4. As you say the subs made sense once Leo got injured, annd Charles was excellent when he came on. Had he left AA on with Ross staying on the bench, then they’d have been loads of complaints. The only contentious decision was Fellowes being left out, but nothing he did when he came on made that look a particularly horrendous decision.
  21. On the ale already?
  22. I’m struggling to think of one clear cut chance they made, or even a mildly difficult save our keeper had to make. Anyone who watches that game and thinks they created better chances than us, is clearly clueless…
