  1. No thanks, if you’re complaining it’s long winded it’ll be like War & fucking Peace
  2. What a load of old pony….. Reading that is 15 mins of my life I won’t get back…,
  3. But they don’t say this. They say it needs to come down but they deliberately move on to illegal immigration. Starmer did this during the election, said it was too high & his remedy was to “smash the gangs” & send Bangladeshi’s home. Great, brilliant, even if he’s successful he’ll cut it by a few thousand. He can’t credibly say “job done, it’s gone down from 685,000 to 680,000 net” and expect people to congratulate him. They’re taking us for fools & the result will be more riots, more division & the development of an extreme party that’ll make Reform look like a bunch of pinkos. They need to start rebalancing the economy to rely less on immigrants (a fucking long process) or they need to start making the case for immigration & explaining the high numbers. Closing down the debate, lying, labelling opponents “far right” ain’t going to cut it as a long term strategy.
  4. You’re talking about approx 5k illegal & 1.2 million legal migrants (gross) the past year. So we already have control over the vast vast majority of immigrants. The inconvenient truth is that high immigration numbers was policy for the last Government & will be policy for this Government. Illegal immigration is an issue because we don’t know who we’re letting in, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s irrelevant to any serious debate about numbers.
  5. People in favour of high levels of immigration won’t admit it, won’t argue for it and then try and pretend they want to reduce it. We’ve just been through an election campaign where Starmer said it’s too high & needs reducing, this with a massive opinion poll lead as well. You won’t find politicians willing to articulate the reason high immigration levels are necessary, because the solutions to reducing it are too politically unpalatable for them to even attempt. Far easier to try and brush it under the carpet and pretend they want it lower.
  6. Fucking hell, I bet your a barrel of laughs down the ale house. Even the Muslim barmaid needs a snifter when she sees you walk in. We all know the type.
  7. Boris has always been incredibly liberal on immigration. Government can control legal immigration now, they just don’t want to but won’t level with the public. That’s the previous one, & this one so it’s not a Tory/Labour thing. There is a consensus on legal migration, they’re pretty much in the same place. The only difference is the tories pretend they’re not,
  8. 😂😂 Radicals, never thought that for one minute. They’ve been the establishment the past 30 friggin years. About as radical as the Tory Establishment of the 50’s & 60’s.
  9. Course it’s a negotiation, there is nothing more capitalist than a man withdrawing his labour, for more money. It’s every man for himself & fuck everyone else. Doctors are the biggest capitalists in the NHS, always have been, yet a load of mugs think they’re saints.
  10. I’d say “regulated” immigration is as much an issue as illegal. Personally, I don’t see how ID cards would work, there doesn’t appear to be much control in countries where they’re in use and it would involve quite a bit of upheaval & conflict. Fuck me, there’s uproar when people are asked to prove who they are when voting, imagine what it’ll be like when plod can stop you in the street & ask to prove residency.
  11. Not quite as spectacular as lefties hailing the removal of £300 from pensioners just on the basic pension & even calling for the Government to go further. All whilst they leave people on 50k free to claim child benefit with no 2 child limit. I guess we’re all evil Tories now. New broom
  12. Starmer stood up in parliament in May & said there was a black hole of 40 million, so unless he’s done a Joe Biden and forgotten already, I think it’s safe to assume he knew. As Starmer says himself, politics is about making choices . They’ve decided in their first month to take £300 off people with an income of just under 12k a year & maintain the evil 2 child benefit cap. Great that you support these measures and appear to want them to go even further.
  13. One of the most famous quotes in political history, no surprise it went over your head.
  14. There’s no limit to how low he’ll go.
  15. What about taking money out of pensioners pockets to stuff doctors mouths with gold again, what do you call them? What do you call someone who says one thing in opposition, but then does the complete opposite within a month of becoming chancellor. I know the word id use, what about you? New Broom.
  16. Looks like Nigel agrees with Soggy, asking “what is happening to our country”. It started off the week before in Kent, when a Lieutenant Colonel in full military uniform is stabbed in the street and I was told that Kent Police wanted to play the incident down. I got that on the highest level. “So I think it’s quite legitimate to ask questions as to what the hell is going on. And then of course we had Southend at the same time with machete gangs fighting in the streets… I think it’s perfectly reasonable to ask what is happening to law and order in our country.
  17. Those were the fucking days.
  18. Looks like the Sun was right now doesn’t it?
  19. 😂😂😂 May ‘24. Those evil Tories thinking of cutting WFA, how could they? And to fill the “black hole” in their finances. You know , that black hole Labour knew nothing about. New Broom 😂😂😂 https://x.com/gitgrumpygit/status/1818214604385718394?s=61&t=tf-1MmhVNe6aHN684Fwt8w
  20. Looks like they’ve stuffed their mouths full of gold again, good luck with holding back the rest of the public sector’s pay demands. Stil I can’t complain too much, looks like the old snap dragon will be quids in. Rich pensioners clearly shouldn’t get WFA, but the problem with basing it on Pension credit is that particular benefit is, according to Martin Lewis, the worst in terms of take up. More people entitled to it don’t claim, than any other benefit. It’s one of the reasons Gordon Brown made it universal. Personally, I’d like to see universal benefits end, but I’d have started with child benefit before pensioners. It’s unbelievable that a Labour Government have taken £300 off pensioners but people earning 50k still get child benefit. And unlike the poorest, it isn’t capped at 2 children (as UC is). Strange world, where lefties appear to be relaxed with it.
  21. You must be really pleased with the way it’s going. As well as sorting out the Doc’s they’ve kept the evil Tories 2 child cap, taken winter fuel allowance off pensioners & gone back on their social care commitments. If they keep going like this, they may get my vote next time.
  22. What if they lie to get elected leader, like Starmer did? The direction you’re taking means fuck all, if you don’t take the party there.
  23. New broom? Saying one thing pre election, doing the opposite. Same old broom.
