Thinking pursuing smuggler leaders will stop the trade is akin to claiming locking up all drug dealers will stop drugs being sold. If you lock one smuggling gang leader up, all you do is create a vacancy which will soon be filled. The only way you stop it, is to stop people paying and you do this by making staying in The EU a far better proposition than risking your life crossing the channel. Ive never believed Rwanda would work, because of soft arsed lefties crying about it and putting obstacles in the way, but the principle of it being a deterrent is right (which is why the EU & even the UN are looking at similar schemes). Anyone seeking asylum via a small boat gets shipped off to some god forsaken place (Scotland ideally, but unfortunate Hadrians wall is obsolete) to have their claim assessed. Maybe an overseas territory, there must be somewhere in the middle of nowhere we can use. We could even set up a token embassy in Calais where people can claim asylum and as a result make crossing the Chanel to do so illegal We can then establish a secure detention centre in some remote part of the uk. So the “asylum seeker” in Calais options are. 1. Stay in the EU and make a life. 2. Apply for asylum to the UK in Calais, but the application will take years as the civil service are fucking useless, and the checks on your identity may take years. You’re in France so there’s no imminent danger to you so you’ll be low priority as you wait it out in The Jungle. 3. Pay to get to the uk on a dangerous Chanel crossing, where you’ll be shipped to some god forsaken hell hole for years whilst your case is slowly assessed. You’ll be at the back of the queue, behind the people who followed the correct procedure in Calais. Obviously, there is a 4th option. You make it to the UK unnoticed and slip into the black economy, as well as a 5th, you drown trying. Which one will they choose?

Laughable, you call Tory members “swivel eyed loons”, then come up with the biggest load of lunatic pony as a solution. Firstly, you won’t get “no parole” for manslaughter. How are you going to even capture these people smugglers, let alone prosecute them. It’s fucking deluded pony. Secondly, you can’t bypass the justice system by convicting people before their defence “can mobilise”. We’re not fucking North Korea, people are entitled to a fair trial. Thirdly, good luck with sending people back to France.

AM is a competent championship keeper, Baz isn’t. That’s the long and short of it.

You can’t leave a seat on its own. So you have to make sure you pick seats on a row that doesn’t leave a single seat once you’ve got yours. It’ll be easy for low numbers, but if you’re trying to book a few it’s a bit harder than it looks -

They won’t, there’s a specific mention of errors on the website. Said they won’t change tickets if you’ve got any details wrong. Personally, I’d make the error if I was you, there’s a 99.9999% you’ll get in on OAP ticket, but what’s the point in the minuscule risk of being refused entry over £30 ish -

You can in error, because I think that’s what I’ve done. Should have been 5 normal & 1 OAP, but I’ve got 6 normal -

God that was stressful. Tried to book 6 but kept getting the dreaded “single ticket” message every time I tried. Had to cancel tickets and start again, only to find less and less 6 available. The more stressed I got, the more I fucked up 😂. Eventually got there, being back overnight queuing -

Probably me with a hang over but looking at the stadium plan. Does “Green and light blue safe standing”, mean both areas are safe standing or Green, and light blue which is safe standing. -
With AM it’s a lose lose situation imo. Whilst I’d have him in the championship, he’s on premier league type money. If we go up he’s not good enough, if we stay down he’s too expensive. I know people will say “take a pay cut”. But he’s shown this year he seems perfectly happy Sat on his arse most of the season. He’ll get a 2nd or 3rd choice spot with that money, no bother. Baz, I’d bin no matter which league we’re in. New keeper needed.
-
The save AM made at 1-0 was an important turning point last night. They were in the middle of a spell of pressure & had that gone in, it would have been a completely different story. We’ll never know if Baz would have saved it, but seeing as he rarely keeps those out, my opinion is, no fucking way he saved that. Sad as it is, his injury has made promotion more likely. Hopefully the powers that be will take note & understand a new keeper is required next season.

It’s such a short sighted move as well. What’s the point in buying a membership next year, if you can just buy one if we get a big end of season game. I’m a ST holder, so doesn’t affect me, but it’s a bit of a joke really. At least they’ve done away with the extra one for ST holders to claim, so they’re slowly learning. -
Do you think taxes are too high, too low, or about right?
-
Unfortunately that’s true. Your anti semitism has been obvious since page one of this thread.

From the bloke who has just used all his daily posts telling us how the IDF could have avoided the incident.

The problem with linos flagging is it will result in legitimate goals being ruled out. So all VAR will do is disallow goals where the Lino has missed the offside or foul. It won’t allow play to continue when the Lino’s mistake is flagging when it wasnt a foul or offside.
-
Soggy would probably want a risk assessment carried out & a health & safety brief before responding to an enemy attack.
-
You can’t put the genie back in the bottle, I’d be amazed if it got scrapped. The main problem with it is this ridiculous “re refereeing the game” pony. They’re obsessed with it, so instead of judging a decision based on its merits, VAR has to decide how bad the error was. They don’t do this with other officials. If the lino thinks it’s a penalty, he indicates a penalty. His thought process isn’t “I think it’s a penalty, but it’s not an horrendous mistake by the ref so will let it go”. What’s wrong with VAR saying “I think it’s a penalty, go and have a look”, whats wrong with VAR saying “I’d have sent him off, go and have a look”. This artificial measure they’ve put in place to protect the on field decision, causes confused & muddled decision making imo. It should be clear and concise, the ref will still ultimately decide once he’s watched it.

What’s weird about it. If Mara is dropped Friday, are we suddenly not allowed to say how shite he is? Are we not allowed to say “thank god he’s not playing”, if Che Adam’s bangs in the winner, nobody is allowed to state “Mara wouldn’t have scored that”. Fuck me, why does Baz merit different treatment than everyone else, it’s not that he’s any good. It’s perfectly reasonable to mention how shite Baz is and how lucky we are he got injured. We’d probably be 2 down if he wasn’t.

Perhaps Soggy should nominate somebody to sort out the Welsh NHS as Labour don’t seem capable. The state of it should concern us all, as Starmer says the Welsh Government is a blueprint for The UK under Labour.
-
I’m against free loaders getting in just because they’ve worn the red & white. Look at that Mara bloke, how the fuck did he get in the ground. Had a really good view stood there watching the game as well. I’d prefer to have seen a bloke with 10 aways in there rather than him. Much more deserving.
-
The big difference for me was the way AM dealt with their dangerous long throws. We’d have conceded from at least one with Baz in nets. I can’t believe this is even up for debate, as average as AM is, he’s a level up from Baz in actual goalkeeping. You know, the thing a goal keepers paid to do.

What you on about “without immigration “, who is proposing that. Typical thrill response when it comes to discussing immigration. Id hope people would understand it’s not a binary choice, todays levels or none at all. Saying Governments loosen immigration targets to boost GDP projections and therefore give them head room for their pet projects, isn’t an argument for no immigration. As for the OBR, remarkable how we managed for hundreds of years without it, it was only set up in 2010. Restraints imposed by a unelected quango, no surprise that the soft arsed wokies on here are all for it.
