He could sign a 10 year contract but if they only have to pay 2 years in the event of sacking him, it’s basically a 2 year deal. You’d hope the contract had the same settlement length even if the actual amount would rise because of the pay increase. I can’t see the difference in salary breaking the bank, but you never know with these chumps.
