The decision not to send Hines off changed the game as the momentum was with us. However, prior to that another poor goal from the edge of the box, a midfield lacking in physicality and the ability to tackle and ponderous full backs that back off too much. After the Hines incident we lacked anything going forward after Chappers went off. The Fonte challenge was needless and I am surprised we didn't put anyone on the post from the free kick given the angle - it seemed obvious where the ball was going. Having said all of that I still think we will go up and on our day we are a very good side, but lots to work on in the summer.

They have to win so I guess the longer it stays 1-1 the more risks they will have to take - hopefully pick them off on the break.

Kelvin of course deserves a chance but the goalkeeping position is an area of the squad where we don't in reality have competition for the place - as much as I like Bart it would probably suit both parties to have fresh start.

Agree 100%. Some idiot woman behind me always boos when his name is read out on the team sheet. The first time he misplaces a pass and she is off, spending the next 10 minutes moaning about him. Mind you she has no concept of possession football and constantly bays for us to lump it forward - if you see a woman in a green coat in the Chapel that looks like a human owl, that's her. Guly is an enigma, he will have good days, he will have bad days. Today certainly wasn't as bad as some (or owl woman) are making out.

I think it could be this seasons "MK Dons" moment - a defining part of the season, the game when players and fans start to believe its going to happen. I do.

The best individual performance I have seen by a Saints keeper. Shilton was consistently excellent, Niemi made word class saves but Kelvin's performance was the football equivalent of the film Zulu.
