If someone back in August had said that all we needed to do was beat the worst team in the league at home to go up I would have snapped their hand off. Perspective.

And where are Brighton this season? Exactly - the current season will soon become yesterday's fish and chip paper once the new season starts.

Agreed, I mean its Coventry at home FFS, and we might not even need to win that.

The decision not to send Hines off changed the game as the momentum was with us. However, prior to that another poor goal from the edge of the box, a midfield lacking in physicality and the ability to tackle and ponderous full backs that back off too much. After the Hines incident we lacked anything going forward after Chappers went off. The Fonte challenge was needless and I am surprised we didn't put anyone on the post from the free kick given the angle - it seemed obvious where the ball was going. Having said all of that I still think we will go up and on our day we are a very good side, but lots to work on in the summer.

They have to win so I guess the longer it stays 1-1 the more risks they will have to take - hopefully pick them off on the break.

We don't defend second ball on the edge of the area at all well. FFS.

Me too, made me raise a smile on what has been a gloomy weekend so far.

The ones that are good enough to race are the lucky ones. To use a football analogy, many are taken on as youngsters and released if they are not good enough - the difference being that released footballers generally don't end up as tea for the local hunt's hounds.
