Could he be the player that was mentioned in another thread? Deal agreed, only for the other club to pull out at the last minute.

Do they think we all suffer from short term memory loss?

I inadvertantly deleted the last episode of Mrs Biggs the other day, much to Mrs Sums annoyance. Luckily I had a recent update to Sky which has now given me an option for Catch Up TV whereby you can download from IPlayer, ITV Player etc. So I downloaded the missing episode and we began to watch. Suprisingly, when it came to the ad break the program title appeared for a couple of seconds and then the program continued. That's bloody useful I thought. When I then looked at the program info I saw that the recording length was 65 minutes, however the program when broadcast was 1 hour, 30 minutes. I'd often wondered how much time was taken up by adverts and there we have it, nearly one third!!!!

So if we become a republic the French will like us a bit more, well what are we waiting for? Bring on the revolution. -

She doesn't 'rule' over us, she's a figurehead. I just don't see how things would be any better as a Republic. You stick to starting a revolution in Puerto Rica. -

I'm far less surprised than Fitshugh Fella and thought this would happen long before Turkish did. I have a mate whose company did work for the club for a number of years and some of the requests (demands) from Cortese were quite ridiculous. But I suppose we've all heard this about Cortese by now. -
I'm more than a little concerned that theer appears to be a skate in Christchurch!!

Threaten to cancel, that will shake them up.

Absolutely agree. We need Technical colleges for 16-18 year olds who are not 'academic' to learn a skilled trade. In recent times we have been encouraging too many kids to go to University to sit half baked courses. Universities should be for the elite.

It won't happen because we're gonna beat them Gooners, positive thinking.

Agreed. It shows the real scandal of the Pompey saga in that all the money went to players and their agents and nothing into the infrastructure of the club.

No, buy a Miele.

Sorry mate, I think you're going to get slaughtered by the forum big-boys.

Takes a bit longer with Barton as they also have to do a brain scan.

One reason for the lack of transfer rumours, the Olympics. Sports writers have far more important things to do at the moment. If there was no Olympics on then they'd be desperately trying to come up with stories before the season starts, i.e. a load of transfer rumours. Is it just me or is this forum utter sh*te in close season? -
Alps goes into meltdown, absolutely priceless. Thank you Alps, you are a legend.

No you don't, you could take the approach of simply not posting, this is a 'mong board' after all.

My God that is hilarious Turks, how many times have we heard this one? And you moan about the classic 'Skacel' gag.

Ottery has been the stand out performer for me. Very solid and with that little bit of flair in the way he places those smileys, definitely a big career ahead of him.
