My Mrs (works in Southbourne) gets a bit of stick at work because I'm a 'Scummer' fan. The funny thing is none of them actually support Bmth but support teams like ManU, Arse, Chelsea, QPR, Leeds, WHam but they follow Bmth as their local/second club.

I think you need to accept that some people have a different opinion on this. I have seen a few dives from Lallana and other Saints players in recent seasons which have been quite frankly embarrassing but this for me was different. IMO uppermost in JRod's mind was to nick the ball away from the defender and avoid the oncoming challenge. By doing this (and you need to look at the position of his left leg), then he could do nothing but go down. It was not a penalty, quite clearly, but I don't think you can blame the ref as from his position it looked like one.

Finally saw it today in 3D high frame rate. After 15 minutes I was not sure at all either with the strange look of HFR or the film itself. However it grew on me and the 3 hours flew by. Some of the scenery was stunning, the ending left me yearning for more. Good to see some of the old characters and Martin Freeman as Bilbo was excellent.

Agreed. The other day I was driving behind a car going very slowly, I muttered to myself "FFS they're driving like an old woman". When I finally go to overtake her I looked across and do you know what? she was indeed an old woman! Spooky.

I actually don't have a problem with many (not all) speed limits and cameras, there's no doubt in my mind that they have helped reduce the number of accidents. The OP is just questioning whether he can 'get away' without a fine due the error that has been made in the penalty notice. I think most of us would do the same. If it had been issued correctly he would probably have accepted it without question. Some people can speed simply through a lack of concentration rather than as a deliberate act.
