Pochettino targets Champions League spot next season
hutch replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Lest we forget, the team currently rock bottom of the third division qualified for Europe three seasons ago. -
I guess there is a reason why they would still prefer to talk about what the respective ownership percentages might be at some undefined point in the future, rather than what it actually is today. They do, of course, know what that figure is today, but prefer to keep it a secret.

Given his previous sentence of 7 games for an identical offence, he and they must have known he was looking at an absolute minimum of 8. Disproportionate? Hardly. They've offered to reduce it to 5 provided he agrees to attend hunger management therapy classes.

Time for a last look at the numbers before they head off on a Galactico recruitment drive? Let's put the parachute payments to one side for now. 8,080 season tickets - if they are all being paid for, 75% at full price and 25% concessions of one sort or another, that will bring around £1.6m or £1.7m income net of VAT Add in another 2,000 ad-hoc ticket sales for each game (average attendance in L2 10,000+?) will bring another £750k Commercial and sponsorship could be worth another half a million. That gives them a total income of somewhere around £3m (co-incidentally about the same as we will earn extra for finishing 11th rather than 15th) Now lets look at the forward debts. I'm assuming that the bank balance they inherit will be used up to get them through the close season and pay the administrator and his disbursements and other fees: Old players more than £8m PCC £1.5m Robinson £1.2m Chinny's add-ons Micah Hall's salary Most reliable estimates put the parachute payments next season at a touch under £10m, and after that zilch. Enough to pay PCC and the players. That leaves them paying Robinson & Chinny from gate money. What I find interesting is the suggestion that they have a deal to pay the players off over 4 years, not next season from the PPs. After next season what are they going to pay them with? £3m will be just enough to pay the running costs of an average L2 club. I have to say, it doesn't seem to add up. I still think "Something will turn up" is the biggest item in their business plan. It will be fun popping in every now and then to see how they are getting on.

Don't just walk through it. give them a call. Don't to the online stuff, pick up the phone. We always stay there now, and Mrs.H gets pretty good deals over the phone. We even got married there, in a suite in the towers. It's an absolutely fantastic hotel, old Art Deco at it's very best.

I think Suarez has a big racism fine on the way for refusing to eat black players.
-
If they had read the prospectus they would have known that before "investing". It's all there in black and white. If, however, they had believed the outright lies being pedalled by the Trust board members and spokesmen, they would have thought otherwise.

I think "New age" is a better description

I'm in. I mean out. Or whatever.

It was the commentator on the FAPL Matchday Live feed. I heard it too.

It's not impossible for 3 ex- Saints managers to go down. A first?

My garden's full of ducks. I'm gonna have to stop the kids from looking out of the window. What's the lowdown on moorhens, coots and geese, bear?

Not me. I'm glad I went to bed.

I suggest you read the whole article;)

Glasgow_Saint to open the match thread?

It's not as if they rolled over and agreed to pay Chainrai what he wants, is it? Coz if it was, then they could have done that last month, or the month before that, or...

Saints Fans' Player of the Year - VOTING NOW OPEN
hutch replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
You don't need to vote for him, he'll win it anyway -
Yep, hands up, I had fotgotten that 12.3.3 is linked back only to 12.3.2 In my memory "...or the Board impose a deduction..." was capable of wider application. Notwthstanding that point, I still find it very difficult to believe that the FL will write new rules when they already have 12.3.3(b) & 12.3.4(a) which were designed, in spirit at least, to cover these very circumstances.

If charities can attract CEO's of the calibre of David Lampitt then we can rest easy knowing our donations are in good hands.

When I lived in Ethiopia we used to joke amongst the ex-pats that the biggest cause of death was being run over by a Land Cruiser supplied by the donors. Probably not far from the truth.

If anybody cares to quote the rule about the cut off date, we will see why the points will be carried over according to the rules. We seem to be quoting everything except the relevant sub-article.
