Would be true if Vettel was racing Weber. But he didn't did he? He wanted the team to tell Weber to move over and let him past. That's not sport it's arrogant petulance. When he broke ranks Weber let him past so that the petulant little pr*ck didn't end up taking them both out again.
  2. So am I but some people on here do love all that mathematical stuff
  3. That's 15 points to catch Oldham, though, who have 3 games in hand due to their cup exploits. They can't actually catch Colchester who are next up on the list. For them to stay up the Skates need to get 18 points from 6 games and Oldham need to get less than 4 points from 9 games.
  4. El Boracico still works for me, just like it did for the Rangers game that never was
  5. ??? we had a sell-on clause with Spurs for Bale, but agreed to take a few bob early in lieu when we were really skint.
  6. Can she play left back as well?
  7. Oh I dunno. I think the city is getting the standard of football it deserves, and I agree that they are heading towards their rightful position.
  8. If they need somebody to get them out of League 2 at the first time of asking, he's their man.
  9. I think in practical terms I agree with Kracken, irrespective of the rights and wrongs. It just wouldn't fit in with the nature of a football match as we know it. I do however think that there should be a much more open and accessible complaint/review process for ref's performances open to clubs and or players. The current situation to fine Alex Ferguson every couple of weeks for having the cheek to say that the ref was carp, and letting so-called professional refs off scot-free week-in week-out for some absolutely diabolical decisions is outrageous in this day and age, and video footage could go a long way towards bringing it kicking and screaming into last century.
  10. Sorry Sue but I'm with Crab on this one.
  11. That one made me smile
  12. That's pretty bizzarre, and definately out of order, even for them.

So they pick an old bloke who is too old to do the job to replace an old bloke who had to retire because he was too old to do the job. Who says the catholic church has a PR problem?
  14. Is there any truth in the reports that several hundred of them are still wandering around Luton looking for the stadium?
  15. ...and if it was, would it win an Oscar?
  16. I hope we don't apologise, & tell them we'll do exactly the same next time they send another idiot with a whistle to referee one of our games. We can afford it.
  17. I didn't want to tempt fate when this thread popped up earlier, but it isn't a particularly rare phenomenon. We've got a little six week old boy at the moment. His mother was HIV+, and he tested +ve at birth. He came to us at a week old, and has been on daily ARVs since birth. He was retested on Friday and we got the result today - he is now clear. No more ARVs.
  18. In a nutshell, isn't it saying that wages have gone up by about 80% while income has gone up by about 300%?
  19. Not really, more a case of agreeing to have their loans paid off with shares rather than £ notes, in layman's terms:)
  20. So true. Likewise I also often sit and wonder how Rickie Lambert would 'fair' in the Premier League if he couldn't play football.
  21. Reckon Penny's got a bit on the side. Dirty cow.
  22. A stupid question I know, but is the average attendance figure quoted in the reports (30,372) the average for our matches, or the average at SMS?
  23. But wouldn't that make us the biggest "fan-owned" club on the South Coast?
  24. But on the Takeover front the smoke's still black eh?
  25. I think I was going through a "Quality over Quantity" phase.
