  1. Yes, this is idiotic populist nonsense. The current system barely copes with new applications so how are they going to conduct, as well as fund, a 5 year retrospective review at the same time?

Don't you like their innovative fabric engineering and garment dying techniques?

If I buy and, what's more, wear a Stone Island jacket, am I: - cool and stylish - a hooligan - a middle aged bloke trying too hard. I should stress that it would be part of a classy and well crafted ensemble, not a fake Burberry hat and ghastly training shoes.
  4. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cge0grppe3po Even the BBC making noise about Trump's corruption now.
  5. With that ref, anything could have happened!
  6. City fans are weird. Sing a Beatles song (Liverpool) before the match and quote Morrisey (Man Utd) at the end of it.
  7. No we didnt, other than the match against us which we are obviously assuming we will win.
  8. Not if they lost to us. 84 then. Sorry, thought our glorious victory was a commonly accepted premise!
  9. Wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for WBA to get a 6 point deduction pronto. Leicester could do us a favour if they sort themselves out.
  10. No. If they lost today the most points they could get would have been 84. Same as us.
  11. Still be annoying though.
  12. I'm not. They are the biggest worry!
  13. Yes, but if we win all our games they couldn't get more points than us, had they lost today.
  14. I will add that Boro have Wednesday and Watford at home then Wrexham away, so could well have won their last 3 with a decent GD tally.
  15. We would have been level on points so they could win all their games apart from against us and we could still have finished above them. Albeit we might have been unlikely to have overturned the GD deficit.
  16. Dunno about that. If they lost it would be within our hands to finish above Ipswich if we score lots of goals. Now it isn't, we need them to drop points in another match. Unless I'm looking at the wrong table.
  17. I suppose the top 4 angle is one way of looking at it but makes top 2 less likely than with a Boro win.
  18. Sounds more like a good time.
  19. Didn't Ipswich get a soft pelanty at Norwich? Feels like they have the luck at the moment.
  20. Watch Boro beat Sheff Wednesday 7-0 next week! 😂
  21. I wonder how we will approach the match? Usual system or something different. I guess there would be an argument to play 3cms although I think with City the big threat comes from out wide, so I'm not sure if that would help or not. What we really need is to make sure the wide players are helping the fullbacks. I expect we would go into a 442 in defence and look to break quickly if we can. I wonder if we might go with something like Perry Back 4 Azaz Downes Jander Scienza Archer Larin
  22. I would expect a Woy team that's just shipped 4 goals and has nothing to play for to park the bus. Although that's based on virtually no knowledge of their actual team. Anyhoo, I think we need to play the strongest team with goals / creativity in it and try to put the game to bed inside 60 mins. Azaz looked a bit laboured yesterday and Scienza played more minutes than he usually does, so I wonder if the data will be saying they should start on the bench. I also wonder if it's THB's turn for a rest? Anyway, if all are well I'd probably go: Perry Bree THB Stevo Manning Charles Downes Archer/Fellows Matsuki Scienza/Archer Larin Aim to give Welington at least half an hour if possible.
  23. He's the anti-Connor Gallagher.
  24. Yeah, two relegated teams and a bog standard Stoke team. That said, Leicester will be keen not to go out with a whimper at home. A WBA points deduction would liven things up too.
