Yes, he was. In completley unrelated news, I wonder if this will decline in value somewhat at any point in the future..... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-20123378

I agree with both of you, sort of. Fox is clearly painfully aware of his limitations as a one-on-one defender. So he covers them by standing about five yards from his centre back when adopting defensive positions. This means he hardly ever gets beaten on the outside. It also means there is absolutely no need for the attacker to beat him on the outside as he has enough time to saunter to wherever he wants with the ball anyway.
-
I have seen him play twice in the first team. He looks better going forward than defending at this stage in his development. I would say Fox is better right now - although Fox's positioning is often bizarre he does at least play a part in quite a few of our goals with his deliveries. If Richardson is fit I would go with him at RB and Clyne at LB sooner than throwing Shaw in. Not many 17 year-old defenders play in the Premier League.

Boruc was probably the only member of the starting XI who didn't really do anything wrong yesterday. He had no chance with the header (we gave Spurs far too much time to isolate Clyne in the air against Bale, particularly Yoshida who gave Defoe far too much space in the first place) and you can hardly blame him for getting beaten in a one-on-one (if anything you could say he forced Defoe into a weak effort which the defence should have mopped up). Fonte and Clyne both should have done better for the second goal. I know Fonte slipped but I think he should have blocked it pre-slip and the slip was probably down to a lack of balance from poor footwork in any case.

Calm down dear, your apostrophes are getting over-excited. You think Lambert is indubitably better than Rooney, Defoe, Wellbeck, Carroll, Crouch, Bent, Johnson? If so, you are a fantasist and an obsessive.

Lol.

No doubt but he has been peddling the Saville stuff for a while now and appears to be somewhat vindicated.

I would sooner play Butterfield at RB and Clyne at LB than have Yoshida out there again. I have been impressed with him at CB but not at all at full-back.
-
Ask him if he is embarrassed about how ****e he was for Saints.

What exactly have B&Q done? They only built a new office about 3 years ago. -
Yeah, nothing more annoying than sanctimonious land-grabbing of the moral high ground.

So he ****ed his dead mother, basically.

One of the best posts I've read on here for sometime, although I was impressed with Yoshida at centre back. I agree he's crap at full-back. I also think Fox is better than made out, although we should be looking to bring in someone better.

Was Warnock trying to insinuate Kirkland are a meal of it? He really is an utter bellend. Well suited to Leeds. Ugly manager, ugly people.

"Matt Le Tiss says Nicola is not very nice. Care to comment?" **** me, does the article actually say that? How retarded. -

Some Tweets Saying We Have Borrowed Against Future Season Ticket Sales
benjii replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
Why wouldn't the lender want the widest security possible? Just because there is an all encompassing debenture it doesn't follow the amount borrowed is equivalent to all present and future assets. As others have said, ignorance, hysteria and general bell-endedness abounds. -
So, who's looking forward to Wednesday's programme?
