  1. I was thinking earlier that it wouldn't surprise me if we got another laon from Italy a la Waigo fairly late in the day. Maybe this is it.
  2. What really amazes me is that we've got to page 15 and I don't think he's pulled that stunt yet!
  3. Probably the best post on the thread! The fact that this has got to "x and counting" pages so quickly just shows that people enjoy a gaggle about this sort of stuff.
  4. I'm sure I speak for all of us in applauding your high principles. They shine through, a rare beacon of virtue, in all your posts. What a gent.
  5. Exactly. There really are some funny little people on here.
  6. No. Just no. I said "in my opinion". I don't speak for anyone else or pretend to. That doesn't preclude me from having an opinion on what the general feeling actually might be. I think it is what I said it is. I might be wrong. I think it's best if you try to avoid arguing around semantics as you're not really clever enough. LMAO - really? That simple?
  7. It's like sending a complaint about Sprite to Walkers crisps. And on the more general point - Cortese has done a great job and I'm pretty sure Liebherr is well aware of that.
  8. I don't think it is. Most Saints fans will not have strong feelings about any of those things IMO. Obviously some do, but that's life. You can't please everyone all the time.
  9. You can, and I am inclined to agree today.
  10. But it's nothing to do with Mali. It is, as you agree, just silly.
  11. Can I suggest that sending an email about SFC to Mali, a company that has no commercial or structural links with SFC, is perhaps a little bit silly? Just a thought.
  12. By the way, does anyone know the reason for the alleged ban yet? Perhaps those that know Illingsworth could list all the reasons why the club might want to ban him. I don't mean putting vague, transcendent things like "they hate free speech", I mean listing the actual things that Illingsworth has done that might make the club feel like banning him. Ta.
  13. Yeah, that is certainly a key part of determing what the actual tax liability to HMRC is but there is more to the appeal than that; I doubt the judge will even attempt to answer the question; "what is the overall tax liability owed to HMRC". The judge will be primarily interested in the question as to whether the claim was handled properly; if the exact amount of the debt owed to HMRC is a material factor in determining whether the CVA has been validly passed then there will need to be a much longer hearing than a day/day and a half.
  14. They are certainly liable to be ridiculed.
  15. Yeah, there must be a really high chance of a banning. It's probably best not to go at all, that way you can be safe.
  16. I've already removed "troll". I apologise for that. You're not a troll - you didn't start this thread. Just a numpty
  17. Yeah, anyone who gets a mention in The Echo will be banned. When they do full-page spreads on schools, all the kids featured are banned. Also, if you've ever bought, or even looked at, a copy you are banned.
  18. Yeah, we knew that
  19. Who cares anyway? What if they did? Now they don't? So what? I wouldn't encourage any business to communicate in real time on an open forum unless there are sound reasons for doing so. Telling a few over-excited people how many tickets have been sold for a match is hardly business critical.
