How good is this ref?
Very sensible and seems to actually understand football. Probably played it at some point. Unlike the Mr Burns, weasel-faced gimps / fat traffic wardens we see in the Premiership and Football League most weeks.
What so the mere fact of them being there means they are giving it the "big one"?
To answer your question, I'm sure a lot of them won't turn up becuase it's tedious, one dimensioanl and over-priced (I expect). So what?
I don't get this, "the South coast needs Premiership football" attitude.
Why?
Silly thing to say. It's merit based. Otherwise Carlisle, Ipswich/Norwich, Plymouth and Dover would always be in the Prem.
About as stupid as the comment that the commentator made at the start of today's FA Cup that people who we are remembering at remembrance Sunday gave their lives so we could enjoy football freely. What a complete "book of 100 top cliches" twonk.
I don't know. Neither do you. Obviously there was a reason. He's not some sort of idiot. His peers, who know about these things, seem impressed. His job was to get a deal acceptable to creditors not fans of SFC, hence the praise for him apparently doing both.
I think the point is that he was part of our touted, by Lowe etc, "golden generation" (my words not his) and ultimately he's just a bog standard Championship player. Same as Mills, same as Cranie, same as Best, same as Blackstock... etc.
are you a skate fan or something?
That's called boxing. If someone is nine inches taller and seven stone heavier than you, you probably aren't going to want to stand toe-to-toe with them.
