I think the point is that we won't win if the players adopt that attitude.

Would you sign Papa Waigo N'Diaye on a permanent basis?

Nineteen Canteen has just sent me a telegram and asked me to post this: The following are bad: Matt Le Tiss Golf Papa Waigo Lawrie McMenemy The following are good: Pompey's fans Keyboard thumping -
Yes, I'm not disputing that. I'm saying that I hope people have a better reason for this allegiance than "habit" which is, IMO, a pathetic reason. If by habit, one means a lasting support of the fundamental principles of what that party stands for, irrespective of the viccissitudes of life etc., then I have no problem with that. It does demand that one continues to assess whether the party still stands for what it used to, as per BTF's post above. Personally, my ideology is probably most closely aligned with the Tories but I've never actually voted for them in an election. This year I will vote Lid Dem because it will be a battle between them and Labour where I live.

How many are changing their vote from last time?

2001 I voted Green. Last time I didn't bother. This time I will vote Lib Dem. -
That's horrific. Those two gimps aren't fit to lace Ant and Dec's boots.

Sounds like it! I checked the date on the article and it's not 1 April.

Ahh, the unbelievable tekkers of football contracts expert and government Tsar, Peter Storrie, manifests itself again beautifully.
-
Exactly. Unless you are confident Huddersfield will win every match then at some point there will be an opportunity to close the gap and put the pressure on. We have to make sure we're ready to capitalise, just in case a chance materialises. They could lose a key player in a match, score a freak own goal, whatever. I'm not going to book a hotel for the play-offs final but I think we have a team capable of getting the results we need so we have to make sure we do that without worrying about the other teams' results.

Gaydamak is very important. Let's not forget that the land he owns around Fratton has nothing to do with his debt either so he can continue to make things awkward if he wants.

What is it with the city of Birmingham? Villa's support is generally poor given their consistent top-half finishes. BIrmingham City's support is utter gash.
-
Yes, this is correct. The "football creditors rule" has no direct legal effect, much like the "Fit and Proper Persons Test".

TBH, I think it was clear what he meant I was just being a tit. I like Dexter - good prog!

Thanks. They do look nice but I fear I would get too fat.

I would hope that no one votes out of habit but rather out of endorsement of the fundamental tenets, as they see them, of a particular party, irrespective of the contemporaneous political landscape. Anyone who votes, literally, out of "habit" is clearly a bit special. It's once every five years or so FFS, it's not like your morning coffee or your evening ****.

They owe Al-Faraj £2m. I wonder if that football creditors figure is liabilities that have fallen due or whether it includes future liabilities?

Please explain what a burger puff is. I am intrigued.

I had a friend who was partial to a doner meat pizza back at uni... I imagine you can get that anywhere though. Apart from Norfolk or Cornwall.
-
I imagine all of our managers have played first team football and managed the Saints.
-
Why don't people think we'll win? We drew away with them in the league and beat them at home easily in the cup. Apart from Jaidi, we will probably be able to field our strongest 11. We should win and I expect us to.
-
You don't have to pay 75% of the debt, you have to pay a proportion of the debt that 75%, in value, of the creditors agree to to achieve a CVA. If that happens then the unsecured creditors are bound by that agreement. But I agree with your gist..... they're in all sorts of bovver and no mistakin Mister.
-
If they'd kept football contracts expert Peter Storrie on in his consultancy role then this would never have happened. Their loss, our government's gain.
-
Maybe not everyone is aware of what an uber-amazing ITK you are. Maybe they read a takeover thread. Maybe they know that people change their mind.
-
Exactly, the player's mentality has to be that if we win every game we have a chance of getting promoted.
-
Someone better get on their forum then and start a thread about loads of Milwall/Saints/Cardiff/whoever fans buying up the 2,000. Isn't that de rigeur for this sort of thing?
