What twaddle. Of course laws get tested; that's how they evolve. If you can draft a set of laws that no one ever seeks to test then you ought to give David Cameron a ring as you will be well in demand. I would also suggest you take case reports in the popular media with a pinch of salt.

I am Ken Darins.

I agree with that! I reckon I would've really enjoyed it at that age.
-
It depends what you mean by "get away with it" I suppose. I would consider a further points penalty next year and years in the doldrums to be not "getting away with it". We shall see.

I would be amazed if the Sun actually had a correspondent at the match!

What on earth was all that Greek nonsense earlier about? Odd comment. I will still vote for them though.

Yep - poor management from Saggy. Should have moved Modric into the centre earlier and put Kranjcar on the left to give Bale a hand.

Seabourne has loads of potential. I can't believe people are slating him but then I'm often left scratching my head on here!

I don't know but I would be surprised if the kids that only speak English make the same progress they would in a school where it was the dominant language. As always, there are variables and at primary age it's more about having parents that are interested in sitting down reading a book with their kids rather than stuffing their face with Dominos and Dr Pepper.

Yes, I agree with much of that, but I still think the question I posed above remains valid regardless. As I said though, sensible analysis like the one provided by you will remain at the margins unless the main parties face up to these issues frankly.

Obviously English speakers are a minority in some schools. Don't be so silly BTF. This Southampton school states that of 262 pupils "four or five" have English as a first language. http://www.maytree.southampton.sch.uk/school/about_us.htm Now, I don't see how that can ever be desirable and it is time that people in this country embraced this debate. I think most people apart from a few loony-lefties are mature and sensible enough to do so but as long as the main political parties continue to be frightened it will allow the likes of the BNP to take simple facts like the one above and try to mutate them into wider and unsupported conclusions. Quite simply, would you want your child to go to a school in England where only three or four of his colleagues spoke English as a first language? There is absolutely no shame in answering "no" to that.

Two of the most repulsive people on the planet.

Correct. They get something like £65k don't they at the moment? Complete pittance considering the demands of the job.
-
They will have no infrastructure, Gaydamak will probably still own all the land, who will own PFC? They are still in for a massive load of rubbish. And why is everyone suddenly ****ting themselves that they'll win the cup? Pathetic. They will not beat Chelsea. No chance. You're probably the same bed-wetters who start whistling after 88 minutes when we're defending a lead.
-
Can't see Gaydamak agreeing to sell the land for 30% of his debt. Not that there's a buyer lined up anyway. Or rather a bona fide buyer.

I can't agree with the view that making a final is something amazing. The final we made in 2003 was no big deal IMO. If we'd won it then great. But we lost. As will the Skates. I don't look back on it now as some sort of glorious adventure. It was a great laugh but ultimately we've got nothing to show for it. As for how many different teams have won the cup - I agree, not many. But that doesn't mean PFC put themselves in that position by any dastardly doings. They got a very lucky draw. The only notable result was a lucky win at Man U. They didn't buy the cup and they weren't "living the dream" in that sense. Any one of a number of other clubs could have achieved the same thing save for not having the luck of the draw - we would have done in 2003 had our easy draw continued into the final and we had faced Cardiff instead of Arsenal. But hey, that's cup football (I remember Milwall in the final, not long ago). I don't see the link between a few lucky cup runs and their off-the-field antics. Yesterday, a poor Premiership team got a win against a slightly-better-than-average Prem team that played badly. It happens. The seeds for many a year in the doldrums have been well and truly sown though. If they were "living the dream", then so were we. Their "dream" was one year of success and a few years in the top flight. Our dream was one which is likely to position us within the premier crop of English football clubs equipped to deal with the financial realities of the game in the 21st century. I prefer our dream.

Chill out! Chelsea will spank them. It will hurt the Few. They are down. They are a useless business proposition. They owe money to people you really wouldn't want to owe money to. All is sweet. Let W******d have another day at Wembley... the next one will be a long time coming (well, they might have a good campaign in the JPT one year). As for "living the dream" - if the dream is a cup win and a couple of years in the top flight then, yes they have, but it's a fairly modest dream that any number of clubs could realistically achieve.
-
I don't blame them for trying this at all. If you are the administrator and there is a possible revenue stream that can be opened you might as well fire of a quick missive saying "look, sorry we didn't apply, any chance of reconsidering?". It's a whole different kettle of fish to their antics this season IMO.

Didn't the Lib Dems win Winch or Romsey by about 200 votes last time? If so, I would expect that to go Blue.
-
I think they all deserve a 6.
-
Well, I think there is a gulf in class between Chelsea and Spurs and I still expect them to get battered. They will probably not be gifted two goals either.
-
Labour will probably continue to embarrass themselves throughout the campaign. I would expect their vote to be lower than currently predicted. Who that vote goes to (if anyone) is harder to predict IMO.

The Wellington has been recommended on the Main Board.

I wonder what that looks like? Probably like a scene from Saving Private Ryan. But with pigs.
