  1. Wrong thread. The stuff about Unions is on The Lounge!
  2. Agreed. "Informant" - FFS.

I reckon it's got as much chance as any marriage of going the distance. They are financially secure for life and have been together about 9 years already.

I enjoyed the wedding I attended yesterday. Lots of free drink. Almost too much but not quite.
  5. So basically, at some point Pardew will stop being our manager? Wow, what a scoop. Oh, and we might be signing Waigo. Sounds good to me.
  6. Thank you, but I don't think I'll bother.

All cakes are a bit of a ****-take IMO.
  8. Why would showing off a signing delay the arrival of the away team?

I'm going to one tomorrow actually! I've looked up the place where it is on t'internet. For the particular venue they've chosen it's £209 per guest, provided there are over 120 of them. So, that's £25k straight away, assuming there are 120 of us there. The venue can take up to 290 so you might be doubling that! That's before wedding dress, usher's outfits, hired entertainment, cake and various other extras. On top of that, we've all been offered a room at the hotel paid for. Their cheapest standard tarif is something like £230 so you can probably add on anything between another £20k - £50k. Basically the whole thing's going to cost an utter **** load. Mental really but I intend to enjoy myself!
  10. @ "Terrace Classic" comments. Brilliant subterfuge.
  11. It's quite funny really. If he'd gone to Celtic or Spurs, for example, the Phew would've had to accept it as a sensible career move. Some of them will struggle with the notion that Bristol City are much bigger than them!
  12. What does that South American midfielder mentioned a while ago look like? Did you get a look at the ears?
  13. Nice stuff! Well done.
  14. Yeah, but "The Twelve Days of Christmas" video was a stroke of genius.
  15. Ahh, should have read these posts before posting. + 1 n'all that.
  16. It's a mistake. A bad one. But they will rectify it by replacing the phone. You haven't lost out have you, save for a few days?
  17. Sorry, what exactly do you expect to happen? They've clearly messed up massively and sent you a used phone by mistake. They will replace it with a new one and not charge you for the contract time whilst you have the used one I expect. They will probably also give you a month or so free as an apology or something. Why the **** would you bother contacting a solcitor or trading standards? They haven't refused to give you a new phone have they?
  18. Is it Hecadoo A Jobforusa?
  19. If it turns out that they are insolvent and they carry on regardless with complete disregard and no compunction whatsoever, then "yes". If they have serviceable debt, then "no".
  20. It's the matches that are categorised, not a set of fans. If we only sold 100 tickets for an away match, I doubt it would be a Cat C unless all of them were sold to known mentalists. I may be wrong, I'm not expert on this.
  21. He might have been about to say that, ceteris paribus, it might be logical to conclude that a bigger following will entail a bigger risk. But then he probably decided there's no point debating with you as you'll try (and probably fail humourously) to shift the goalposts or you'll start ranting about something unrelated and do a few LMAOs whilst trying to convince yourself that secretly everyone is really jealous and envious of you. Or he might not. I don't really know.
  22. Well so could the current one. - "It is a white shirt with a single diagonal red stripe from shoulder to opposite bottom corner" - there you go. The kit is popular. You don't like it. End of. PS - and by the way, a grown man (assuming you are) who gets overly excited about any sort of mass-produced football shirt does himself no favours IMO.
  23. No one knows how Nick Illingsworth has "been treated"; people are not willing to rush to judgment without knowing. I know that goes against your natural Daily Express instincts, but you are different to most people. Please try to understand.
  24. Exactly. Although that doesn't mean Cortese shouldn't run the club in the most commercially sensible way. Not sure what this has to do with Illingsworth! This thread is mental.
