I also lol at the fact you seem to think we still play "tippy-tappy" whatever that means. Shows how much insight into our matches you actually do have (which isn't surprising, all things considered it just makes it all the more annoying when you assert things that you have no knowledge of).
-
That may well be true but has absolutely no relevance to your claim that they "worked us out" tactically.
-
St Will, Alpine sticks to the rules even if he does talk nonsense a lot. You, on the other hand seem to have made it your personal mission to spoil every thread on the main board on which he posts. Please stop it. We all think it's pathetic and annoying.

Shots on target Leyton Orient 2 Southampton 9 Shots off target Leyton Orient 4 Southampton 8 Corners Leyton Orient 5 Southampton 13 They sure did give us a tactical masterclass. I long for the day when we can tactically wallop someone to the extent that the we manage two shots on target (one of which was in the first minute).

No, they haven't. Is your brain really that simple minded or are you just posting beligerent guff for the sake of it?
-
You think a team with a defence of: James----Lancashire/Thomas---Perry------Molyneux/Mills would be in the top 6 in League One?
-
That's because you were completely wrong.

2018 World Cup bid - Time for Saints to step in
benjii replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
I think it depends whether we are competing with Bristol and Plymouth or whether we are a potential additional bidder along with those two. Both will have bids far in advance of ours and regardless of how much better Southampton could be it will be tough to make up that ground. We are also assuming the political will is there. It would be quite easy for local politicians to say how they would back the bid, knowing full well that there is no chance we would be allowed to bid.... -
I agree completely with MLG. That kit and badge looks infinitely better than the current piece of cheap ****. We haven't had a decent kit since 89/90.
-
If you genuinely enjoy missing watching the match in order to stand in a dank queue full of smelly blokes in order to pay an inflated price for a ****e lager in a cheap plastic glass, which you then have 15 minutes or so to see off, despite having already paid over the odds to watch the thing you're now missing then fair enough. If, on the other hand you do this purely because it is ritual or you and your mates feel you have to because, "it's football" or, "I need a pint" then you are sad. IMO.

Presumably Grant has taken the job as a favour for Pini Zhahavi who is actually the man running PFC. Or is that complete nonsense? Sorry, I've found it hard to follow what's going on there.

I've had two. Maybe it was before your servers went mammaries-up and everything got deleted. I've definitely had two. I'm not proud of them and, hey, you kids out there, stay off the infractions.

2/1 on William Hill for Saints to score in each half. Got to be worth a £5!
-
Pompey would batter us. It would be awful. I would like to get a Prem team away, either in London or one of the big northern clubs. Might as well go out with a bang; no point hanging around in this competition at all.

It was a ridiculous infraction!
-
I got one from Baj once but a different mod rescinded it.
-
It is a stupid idea, despite the practical difficulties, for the simple reason that it would not benefit either club.
-
Not true for European beers! Some Belgian beauties weigh in at over 10%.
-
No, this thing was definitely hot. Glowing, like an ember.

I got an amazing PM from LonglifeCherry.

What, WHAT?! Yeah, it's Saints related, I should have put it on the main board. Oh no, silly me General Sports. Actually, Technology. Jeeeeez. I suppose I should have put it in the Lounge so that all the lunatics could post their "serious" theories about moon landings, 9/11, Jamaican Ginger Cake and whatever happened to Tab Clear? Unbelievable.

It may well have been but I've seen those before and this seemed to be a bigger illumination given its distance.
