  1. Good idea but about three years too late. "Protest against everything wrong with football", one of them says (I've sorted out the typing for him). They were "everything wrong with football" years ago.
  2. Finally, I will get some use for that shirt with "Bierhoff" on the back.
  3. YES!!! I win the sweepstake on the other thread!! (Unless it's about a book signing).

I know. I do bring a sizzling unpredictability and excitement to this place.
  5. I wonder what the excuse will be today? There could be a proper Chemical Ali moment at Eastleigh with some poor spokesman trotting out rubbish whilst Gordon Taylor (? PFA chap ?) stalks around in the background.
  6. It does raise an interesting moral question IMO.
  7. So one set of retards have got the reaction they wanted from the other set of retards. Quelle surprise.
  8. The price is very different though, although the point remains that you'd have to be a mentalist to want to buy Pompey at the moment!
  9. Er, no. That wouldn't be the effect of transferring a shareholding at all.

It's more an alternative to The Christian Daily than an actual football player.

    Or:
  12. No doubt Weston will be able to tell us what is actually happening. After it's been confirmed.
  13. Surprisingly, it is!
  14. I wonder if the PFA knew it was a portacabin in a field? They might have a bit more sympathy now?
  15. It's about comparisons, you boring and ill informed individual I hardly think Leicester are doing guff. Middlesbrough - 13k against a top Prem team?! We would have sold out that match. If you think there is no point talking about this then fine. Some would say that attendances are an interesting part of football - indeed they are commercially significant in both the long and short term. This thread was not about Saints, which is why I put it in here; it's about attendances in general and the number of terrible ones in the Cup on Saturday which I happen to think were a shame. I can happily understand people not bothering if it's £50 a ticket. Wigan v Hull was £15 for adults, yet 5,000 people turned up. That must be a worry to those clubs and to the FA.
  16. Has Balkestein signed yet?
  17. Yep, that's a good one. Thanks!
  18. No, just foreskin.
  19. They allow those "God hates fag" people to protest at the funeral marches of US servicemen so I doubt it.

This is all utter, utter, turd encrusted tripe. Don't believe a word. I doubt this guy's ever even left England, nevermind been on some sort of wine soaked, US dollar denominated, golf tour of the Middle East. Go to Lebanon.
  21. It's a perfectly fair (and some might even dare to venture, interesting) point to note that there are clubs in the lower leagues that are much "bigger" than a lot of clubs in the Premiership. In fact, there seems to be a preponderance of "small" clubs in the Premiership. That was what the thread was about but you seem to want to make a different point. Which is fine. I appreciate the time you have devoted to my thread though. I love you. You're the one.
  22. That sort of scattergun approach would run the risk of earning yourself a reputation as a timewaster. It would also irk a player somewhat when the deal suddenly goes cold because it looks like something is going to happen elsewhere only to be resurrected again when that one falls through. To pursue a few top targets initially is the right thing to do IMO. We have a week until our next game and then another week until the game after that. We then have 10 days until a further League game. Chill!
  23. I would probably take Lambert and Connolly over Beckford and Becchio. I might take Harding over their left back. Other than that, they are better than us in every position IMO.
