Everyone knows that certain posters are boring vom-minded, hyper-self-important, smog-visioned, dunder-block-headed, uber-****tish, rtard-jizziming feckwits.
Treat the ****s with the contempt they deserve,
Cllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssss.
And anyone who has less than brilliant feelings is a bed-wetting, pant-soiling, mummy-suckling, bravado-spunking, toss-geezer.
Yep!
Result is obvioulsy a bit disappointing today but I just don't care. I'm confident that we will still win a lot of games when the season starts. The key will be to string back-to-back wins together as soon as possible.
I think people were talking about the lack of preseason for the manager. Clearly the players had a preseason. But they weren't being managed properly. It doesn't follow that the corrollary of that is that it would have been important to win more games last preseason.
So not really a good point at all IMO.
Might be worth forwarding that list in an email to the Football League.
Steve Cotteril would do well to either: resign or shut up and get on with it otherwise he's going to make a right tit of himself a la Grant. Anyone could've told him it was a stupid job to take.
Well yeah, it would be loans and desperate freebies. With respect to Prem loans, surely there are better second division clubs than that turd basket to send your players to.
Only you could intepret the most impressive signing ever by a third tier club as a signal of penny pinching in another position and bad management.
Top work, sir!
The quote from the FL talks about "reducing the wage bill" and signing "replacement" players on a "case-by-case" basis.
In other words, if you manage to shift Ben Haim, you can sign a replacement on smaller wages. If you can sell Utaka, you can sign a replacement on smaller wages.
There is nothing in there to suggest Skates are presently allowed to sign anyone.
Two points:
One - I doubt this will happen...
but...
Two - those of you saying he doesn't score, blah, blah, blah... you are off your rockers if you're implying he wouldn't be an amazing asset on the pitch. If he went to a Championship club he would arguably be the best forward in the Championship. If he comes to us he will be the best forward in League One by some distance. As Thedelldays said, he would simply be a level above anything else the defenders in this league face. He would murder them.
Generally, I know naff all about most players at this level.
I did spend a couple of years in Nottingham though and used to go to matches now and again so I have an opinion on Tyson which is possibly more informed than the average opinion, having watched him in the flesh several times.
I am also willing to give a player extra hype if they have a good sounding name.
