  1. "past" - I find dunce-use of the English language much more offensive. Edit - Oohh! A late Edit!
  2. Stop being a prat.
  3. I do computer games all day.
  4. This is correct, you are not alone. We absolutely dominated them for the first 45 (for the third time this season - not easy against any professional team from a comparable level). Second half they improved; not surprising, but we never looked like conceding again. I was dismayed at the lack of fortitude and panic shown by some in the stands. Just glad our players are built of sterner stuff.
  5. What a load of crap. I can't believe someone who is a historian of the game has such a limited understanding of what it takes to play football. I can only assume you were rubbish at it. Apologies for any offense caused or if I have upset you but that is a quite flabbergasting post.
  6. Shut up, you bore-bot.
  7. The rule states a 9-point deduction. Hilariously, many Pompey fans seem to thing it shouldn't apply to them because of the "exceptional circumstances".
  8. A qualifying creditor could still put them into admin.
  9. But that has nothing whatsoever to do with tonight. It's pathetic.
  10. The moral of the story is that one really should pay one's tax gill.
  11. Christ, I hope the players have a bit more bottle than some of you lot!
  12. That would be a SKY SPORTS reporter who probably knows about as much as Ali Al-Farage about UK company law.
  13. Well about 30,000 people will care enough to go to the match. I see Pompey apparently have "droves" of tickets left for tonight's crucial Premier League match.
  14. It is a bit of a mistake to necessarily think of HMRC as having the same mentality as a rational commercial creditor. They are an emanation of the state of sorts and there is a public interest argument in them not allowing a company which is clearly insolvent to continue trading purely so they can recuop x% of their losses in the short-term. They have to be seen to be "doing the right thing" to a certain extent. Whereas there is no problem in a commercial creditor getting what they can now, HMRC have to be a bit more sensitive to the general principles of the law.
  15. Sounds like this has come out of PFC then. Quelle surprise. I will take it with a pinch of salt for now...
  16. This is certainly true; it is a very destructive drug and would be a Class A f'sure if it was a newbie.
  17. at you.
  18. Same team as the first leg please (assuming Hammond is not fit).
  19. Radio 5 keep announcing Pompey are "close" to a deal. I wonder what the source of this is though! Doubt it's coming from HMRC so you have to wonder how genuine it is. Tomorrow could be fun anyway!
  20. No, owning a company doesn't make you liable for its debts.

Haha. Some idiot on Page 2 reckons we've "been falsifying our accounts for years". What a twit.
