Ok. "I have not seen him play.... because despite being signed some time ago now he has never appeared to be anywhere near the first team. I can only conclude this is because he is ****e given that we have been rather weak in his specialist position for some time.... but wish him good luck and I hope Lincoln want to sign him."

Mark Silas Jacob is a lawyer at a firm called Fuglers and a big Spurs fan. Quite possibly a Jew. http://www.fuglers.co.uk/people.html

What, you mean that time we spent £1m on Schneiderlin, that era?
-
Yes, that is why I like it. :-\"
-
I like Roy Hodgson. I also like the way he says "r".

Not really. If you don't show up as a director of an insolvent company when the relevant records are searched, you have no prior involvement in football and no known criminal convictions of a certain type you will be "fit and proper".

Don't be silly. £1 advance, £1.50 on the door.

Michael Ali Al-Faraj Fialka?

We got twice as many as Charlton tonight and also more than Leeds. Fair play to all who went. If we're at home in the next round I would like to see prices lowered a bit more to encourage a crowd of 12,000+. That said, if we're drawn against a bigger League One side or a local side, the crowd will probably increase anyway. Just shows the latent support this club has and that if it had been managed properly historically it really should have cemented its place amongst the top 12 in the country (still let's not talk about all that again!).

Can't fault them really. Shame Torquay scored a couple but apart from a 10 min spell in the first half ti sounded like one way traffic. At the end of the day, in the cup getting to the next round is all that matters. Coming back from two down could actually do more for our self-belief than comfortably seeing off a weaker team. Also, crowd of over 9,000 is excellent.

Indeed. Just shows one shouldn't go berserk over one dodgy half of football.
-
I happen to think KD is much better than Bart and Bart is really quite dodgy. That is why. I expect you knew that.
-
They've been in our half about twice. I'm not decrying them but don't suggest they've taken the game to us and outplayed us.
-
Thank fook KD didn't get a red card!

I was on The Law Society website earlier so decided to quickly check out our Mr Jacob. Here he is; Mark Silas Jacob: http://www.fuglers.co.uk/people.html#partners He's written a book on Spurs! Interesting to see he specialises in Commercial Property and secured lending. Something tells me there won't necessarily be "huge" investment in the playing squad in January if certain "off-pitch" activities aren't progressing in the pipeline.

According to the Football League website, it is a rule of the competition that clubs must pick at least 6 of the players who have started the most first team games in the current season. That sounds quite bizarre to me, but there you go. http://www.football-league.co.uk/johnstonespainttrophy/news/support-your-team-on-road-to-wembley-20090901_2246525_1780709# Also when you factor in that getting to Wembley could be worth around £300-400,000 it makes you appreciate that there are a lot of teams who would love to do well in this as that represents a very significant additional income for a lot of the clubs in League One and Two. I went to the ZDS Cup Final and it was a good laugh, Mickey Mouse or not. Anyone who doesn't find some fun in the thought of the prospect of going to Wembley to lift the Paint Pot needs to chill out a bit IMO!

That's annoying, I expected him to take the JPT by storm this year.

Basically, no one has a clue who he is or where any money (if there is any - he has probably acquired the stake for £1, after all Al-Fahim doesn't want the blood on his hands when admin happens) is coming from. We don't know that he's bought any of the assets Gaydamak retained. It's the same as the last take-over at the moment except this guy isn't famous. It might turn out to be good, it might not, but all we have are a few comments from some bloke involved. He only surfaced when they appeared at death's door and Storrie was frantically trying to get some investors together. Now could he be an opportunist taking a relatievly cheap punt.... er, yes he could. Could he be a mega-wealthy dream-owner... er, yes he could. Does anyone know? No.

Would be quite funny if Pulis turned out to be mint.

Most "professionals" in the real world don't get overtime. HTH.

Is that it?! You should work in a public school. We used to get 3 or 4 weeks at Easter and 8 or 9 in the summer. Lovely stuff.
