Grealish is ok but he's no better than the likes of Lallana ever were at their peak. Not sure I understand the clamour to build the team around him, but maybe it's just because everyone else is shite?

This.

True but most people don't want to own 80% of a private company. The only reason she still has her 20% is because Gao couldn't raise the money for it.

Greedy, soulless scum-bags. If you want to give some money just give the fucking money. This can’t be allowed to happen. If it does the FA will have failed, the government will have failed, the Premier League will have failed and football will have been failed. Abolishing the League Cup is a smack in the face to fans. “Big six” is an attempt to form a cartel. Go fuck yourselves. If Saints support this that applies to SFC too.

Sounds even worse than Gao, which is bad. Piss offa Da Grossa.

His work experience has finished. -
Hijack Danny Fox's move to East Bengal?

I'm not massively excited, in the sense that he isn't going to be the next Mane or Van Dijk but it's a sensible enough signing. Gives us an extra dimension upfront (do you want him or Long coming on if we need a goal?) and some extra cover in midfield. As has been noted, if it works out he should be a relatively cheap signing in the summer, assuming he will take a sensible wage. We've getting a better balance to the squad now. If Salisu turns out good then we'll have depth in most positions.

Agreed. They offer very different interesting possibilities. Redmond is tidy and dependable, looks after the ball and scores the occasional good goal whereas Djenepo is unpredictable and has the audacity/belief to try things. It's good to have both options.

That has to be one of our most comfortable wins for years. No one was brilliant but everyone was at 7/10. Very solid team performance against inferior opposition. Good professional display. Our set piece defending looked shite though and it was a big win because I doubt we'll get anything from the next two matches.

Looks like a good all-rounder. Likes to track and get stuck in but positive on the ball and not just taking the easy option. As we all know, though, these videos should generally be taken with a pinch of salt.

Not really. If you mean “working days” then you should say “working days”. It’s not hard. And if you pick a multiple of 7 you’re pretty obviously working in weeks, not working days (especially if you don’t refer to “working days”).

Absolutely. Needed this since we gave up on Lemina.

We don't have a funking clue.

I agree it is positive. There is already peace between the UAE and Bahrain and Israel, however. It is not a peace deal. It’s a trade deal and diplomacy deal which reflects the reality that has existed for some time. If Trump fixes the Syrian civil war or the Yemeni civil war (both very real wars with very real human tragedies) then you can credit him with a peace deal in the Middle East. No doubt Trump’s half-wit base from Buttfuck Oklahoma think he has ended an actual war or something. That’s if the divs have any comprehension at all of what any of the words mean.

How did the Swiss vote on wolf control? That’s the day’s big issue.

“Peace deal”

I’m too sexy for this virus.

I totally agree. I can't understand why more wasn't done to segregate parts of hospitals into "covid free" zones and allow other important procedures to continue. I suppose simple lack of manpower may have been the main blocker. If I had been in the situation of seeing someone unable to access treatment they would have otherwise have had, I don't know how I would have reacted, but "badly", I expect. I hope there's some positive news ahead.

Sounds rough. All the best.

You said Biden was worse. I can't see any evidence for that at all. It's not "partisan" to see a video of Trump spasming, struggling and tottering and concluding he's got problems. I haven't seen anything like that relating to Biden who seems capable of jogging and riding a bike but occasionally a bit clumsy with words.

It is an interesting article, although much of the logic seems to be premised on two outcomes of being infected: - get Covid and die - get Covid and back to normal ASAP Also seems to assume no reinfection is possible. Are there any reliable studies that show long-term immunity and whether Covid is causing any lasting damage to those it doesn't kill?
