  1. Yes, that's why my reply was so bland! I have no idea who owns it!
  2. If it is an asset of a company in administration it will be under the control of the administrator of that company.
  3. The directors would be likely to place the company into voluntary administration if they believed it was insolvent and trading. There are potential consequences for them if they trade insolvently. If we are relying on selling players in January and we cannot do so then there's nothing surprising about hearing that wheels may be put in motion for readyness at the end of the window. As for a CVA - they generally do not work. In any case, it would be Aviva calling the shots in such a scenario rather than Lowe. The board can force their hand by voluntarily entering insolvency proceedings but they can't make them accept an offer. I believe Barclays are an unsecured creditor so are down the pecking order.
  4. Whoever he is, I bet he's much better than Pearson.
  5. I saw a steward punched in the face by some lardy little gob-****e and all he did was shake his head and tell the lad to stop. The lad was then, quite rightly ejected, squeeling and wriggling like a bloated little piggy. How many on here can say they would have had the restraint not to lay the little idiot out? Having said that it looked as though they were a bit heavy handed with one of the lads who got on the pitch, but frankly, if you leg it on to the pitch you're risking a bit of a bundle. He should just be thankful that David Speedie doesn't play for us anymore
  6. We need to sack both but one is more of a long-term objective than the other. They aren't mutually exclusive. I fully accept the next appointment is likely to be no better given Lowe's propensity for making appalling decisions and being inept, however I would estimate our chances of staying up at about 5% at the moment so, in my opinion, it is a small gamble and worth taking.
  7. No. No, it isn't. Unless you're mental.

    Meeting Today

    Spooky!
  9. ???
  10. If you flipped burgers at McDonalds and were offered the Global Group Chief Exec position you would hardly complain if you didn't quite have the executive authority of your predecessor.
  11. He's probably just a bored, fat (probably), fumey (probably), smelly (probably), letchy (probably) old journo trying to get a reaction. TBF who gives a **** what print rag journos think? Most of them are thick and beligerent and haven't the faintest idea what they're talking about.
  12. Er, yeah.
  13. Askham, Lowe and Wilde losing their money? Surely there's some solace in that?

    Absolutely.
  15. TBF Delap and Higginbotham are ****e.
  16. I have a crispy one under my bed.
  17. He didn't want to drive the bus. His employers could accommodate this without any major biggy occuring. I don't see the guy running around trying to burn atheists and infidels. I fully respect the views of people to hold whatever opinion they want, even if it is as cack brained, ludicrous, foetal and dull-headed as belief in a supernatural all-powerful creator being and I fully reserve the right to tell them that and to refuse to assist in the propogation of such beliefs. So fair play to the bloke. Anyhoo, the people who placed the advert will be happy as it's clearly generated some debate.
  18. I heard it was David van Dein.
  19. Given that there were fights in the Kingsland and Itchen too I think everyone should be seated in the directors' box as it's always nice and sedate in there.
  20. None of this is remotely mathematically interesting. IMO of course.

    Best outfield player IMO.
  22. If a winding up petition was presented now, the hearing wouldn't be on 8th Feb (Sunday or no Sunday). It'd be more like late March or April. More likely some sort of analogous step may have been taken. Maybe we tried to impose new payment terms on a supplier and they issued a statutory demand or something like that. That gives you 21 days to make payment or dispute the sum or is otherwise taken as de facto evidence of insolvency. 21 days from Saturday would be 7th Feb. Or.... maybe it's all a load of hocum!
  23. I've never felt more certain we are going down. In the great escape season I dared to believe we'd do it. Under Merrington and Souness I thought we'd do it. When we went down I even thought we'd beat Man U on the final day. I am certain we will be relegated with this manager.
  24. Let's face it, pretty much everyone apart from ST holders is "boycotting" now anyway, whether out of principle or just because they consider it to be a miserable way to spend their Saturday afternoon. I don't have an ST. I've been selective in which games I go to this season. Yesterday was last chance saloon for the team as far as I'm concerned, and I won't be going to any more home games unless there is a positive change in management or board. It is not enjoyable, it is not good value, it is depressing, it is a waste of money.
